    摘要: An adaptor is disclosed for connecting a generator to a prime mover. The adaptor comprises two separable parts. By providing an adaptor comprising two separable parts, it may be possible for one part to be removed in order to allow access to moving parts which would otherwise be inaccessible. This may simplify the process of servicing moving parts such as a coupling or bearings, without requiring the generator and the prime mover to be moved apart. A coupling with a radially removable elastomeric component is also disclosed.

    摘要: A propshaft damper includes an inertia ring where the inertia ring having an inner ring. A rubber track is positioned on inner ring, the rubber track having an first inner surface. A transmission flange is further provided having a second inner surface and connected to the inertia ring. A hub is provided connecting the inertia ring to the flange. The hub having a first section and a second section where the first section of the hub includes a first outer surface and the second section includes a second outer surface. The first inner surface of the hub connected to the first outer surface of the hub. Further, the second outer surface of the hub is connected to the second inner surface of the flange thereby connecting inertia track and the flange by means of the hub in a secure press-fit connection.

    摘要: A rotary elastic coupling is fitted with an inner ring and with an outer ring surrounding the inner ring around the periphery by forming an annular slit. An elastomer is provided in the annular slit, which is vulcanized or glued to the inner ring and to the outer ring and fills up the annular slit substantially or completely. The annular slit is meander-shaped around the periphery of the coupling so that radially outward protrusions of the inner ring undercut radially inward protrusions of the outer ring. Around the periphery of the coupling, a relief opening is provided in the elastomer on both sides of the protrusions of the inner ring and on both sides of the protrusions of the outer ring.

    摘要: A one-way clutch is proposed which includes an outer race having a radially inner surface in which a plurality of pockets are formed. Rollers are each received in one of the pockets. Wedge-shaped spaces are defined between respective cam surfaces of the pockets and a shaft inserted through the outer race. When the shaft rotates in one direction, the rollers are wedged into the narrow ends of the respective wedge-shaped spaces, thereby locking the clutch. When the shaft rotates in the opposite direction, the rollers move toward the wide ends of the wedge-shaped spaces, thereby unlocking the clutch. The casing includes a main body and a cylindrical member fitted in the main body and made of an elastic synthetic resin. The outer race is fitted in the cylindrical member.

    摘要: A power transmission apparatus comprising a pulley 1 and a hub 2 is disclosed. The hub 2 includes an inner hub 21 fixed on a rotary shaft 4 and an elastic member 23 coupled over a joint length L to the outer periphery of the inner hub 21. Elastic member 23 includes a hub-side engaging portion having a series of protrusions arranged in a ring and a cylindrical portion connecting the hub-side engaging portion and the inner hub. Pulley 1 has a pulley-side engaging portion having a series of depressions fitted on the hub-side engaging portion. The engagement between hub-side engaging portion 235 and pulley-side engaging portion 14 forms a torque transmission structure of hub 2 and pulley 1. An axial length TL of a torque transmission surface TS formed by hub-side engaging portion 235 and pulley-side engaging portion 14 in contact with each other is larger than joint length L between the cylindrical portion and inner hub 21. Axial length TL, when projected in the radial direction, is partially overlapped with joint length L.
