Abstract:
The disclosure is based on the idea of providing a pipe flange coupling device (3), which is attachable in connection with a first pipe (1) of a first pipe flange (1a), having pawls (6) engaging a second pipe flange (2a) of a second pipe (2). The pawls (6) are fixed to a spindle (5) retractable by a translation arrangement so as to pull the second pipe flange (2a) against the first pipe flange (1a). More particularly, the translation arrangement is configured such that, when the flanged pipes (1, 2) are coupled and the pawls (6) are retracted, a force exerted on the pawls (6) towards the extended position is transmitted via the translation arrangement against a mechanical stopper. Moreover, the translation arrangement is biased such that the translation arrangement must work against this bias in order to extend the pawls and release the flanged pipes (1, 2) coupled to each other.
Abstract:
A testing or filling adapter (1) for a container to be filled with fluid, composed of a body (10), an attachment module (3), and a coupling system (30) having a coupled position, in which a sealed connection is established between the body and the attachment module, and an uncoupled position. The body includes a feed module (2) that comprises a plurality of conduits that include at least one fluid conduit (221) and is equipped with a safety valve (5) that can be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration and is connected to an element mirror (51) having a first configuration in which the safety valve is in the open configuration and a second configuration in which the safety valve is in the closed configuration. The filling adapter further comprises a safety device (6) that cooperates with the coupling system, with it being possible to move said safety device between a locked position, in which the safety device locks the coupling system in the coupled position, and an unlocked position, in which the safety device enables the coupling system to be moved into the uncoupled position. The safety device cooperates with the mirror element so as to enable the mirror element to be in its first configuration when the safety device is in the locked position, and to force the mirror element to be in its second configuration when the safety device is moved from its locked position to its unlocked position.
Abstract:
A shield and clip assembly is provided for use with a joint that connects the ends of pipes conveying a fluid under pressure. The joint includes a primary retention feature for retaining the connected pipe ends. The shield and clip assembly includes a cover configured to encapsulate the joint and the ends of the pipes sufficiently to ensure that the connected ends will not fully disengage from the joint and to ensure that leakage or spray, if any, of the fluid being conveyed from a leaking joint will be attenuated or shielded. The joint may be an in-line quick connector joint.
Abstract:
Various connection devices and assemblies, such as telescoping riser joints, can include at least one of the present connection devices. Some of the present connection devices, for example, include a housing having a bore therethrough; a locking ring rotatably movable relative to the housing between a first position and a second position; and an engagement member laterally moveable relative to the bore of the housing between a retracted position and an extended position. In some such connection devices, the locking ring is configured such that movement from the first position to the second position causes the engagement member to move from the retracted position to the extended position.

Abstract:
A coupling for coupling pipe segments. The coupling includes a first housing component, a second housing component, and a fastener coupling the first and second components together. The fastener has an aligned configuration defining an axis of alignment such that first and second housing components are in a closed configuration to define a central axis of the coupling. The fastener has a skewed configuration to define a pivot axis of the fastener such that the first and second housing components are in an open configuration. The pivot axis is substantially parallel to the central axis and substantially perpendicular to the axis of alignment.

A coupling for coupling pipe segments (2,4). The coupling includes a first housing component (12), a second housing component (14), and a fastener coupling the first and second components together. The fastener (22) has an aligned configuration defining an axis of alignment such that first and second housing components are in a closed configuration to define a central axis of the coupling. The fastener has a skewed configuration to define a pivot axis of the fastener such that the first and second housing components are in an open configuration. The pivot axis is substantially parallel to the central axis and substantially perpendicular to the axis of alignment.
