摘要: A method for controlling a catalytic combustion apparatus having a heater capable of heating fuel to be supplied to a catalyst includes a step of supplying oxidant gas to the catalytic combustion apparatus, and an injection step of injecting the fuel into the catalytic combustion apparatus. The injection step also includes an electric power feeding step of supplying electric power to the heater, and a setting step of setting an injection amount of the fuel to be injected into the catalytic combustion apparatus in response to output of the heater.

摘要: A method and device for producing heat energy by bringing water into contact with pre-heated oil in a chamber within a reaction vessel is disclosed. When the water and the oil meet, a violent reaction results in which a flame-like eruption of very hot gases is emitted. The heat energy released by this reaction is more than can be obtained by simply burning oil alone.

摘要: A pot-type oil burner is disclosed which is capable of stabilizing the vaporization rate of fuel oil in a pot to accomplish the stable complete combustion with a good efficiency. The oil burner is constructed to arrange a heat-resistant fabric on the bottom surface of the pot to vaporize fuel oil with a constant rate. The oil burner is also capable of significantly reducing retention of tar in the pot and facilitates removing tar from the pot as desired.

摘要: An improved electrically-heated contact vaporizer (EHCV) for a catalytic hydrocarbon reformer. The EHCV has an electrically-heated vaporization surface and a helical-wound flow director. Preferably the EHCV includes a port and internal passages to permit controlled entry of an oxygen-containing gas, preferably air, into a flowing stream of vaporized fuel near the exit of the EHCV to mix with the vaporized fuel and spontaneously combust, forming hot gases for heating the reforming catalyst. A third wall may be provided to surround the outer wall of the air passage to provide further thermal insulation against heat loss.

摘要: An oil burner of the heat radiation type is disclosed which is capable of effectively preventing clouding of the inner surface of a heat-permeable cylinder with moisture, contaminants contained in combustion gas such as soot and tar, and the like during at the ignition and combustion operation.The oil burner includes a communicating means for establishing the communication between an air supply passage and a space between a heat-permeable cylinder and an outer combustion cylinder, which comprises a top plate for a pot having through-holes formed at the portion thereof above the air supply passage and a top plate for a housing having through-holes formed at the portion below the space, to thereby allow air to be introduced directly from the air supply passage to the space and upward flow along the inner surface of the heat-permeable cylinder.
