    摘要: The system for continuous thermal combustion of matter, such as waste, comprises an incinerator, air supply means for supplying heated air to the incinerator, and a steam generator for generating steam on the basis of heat generated in the incinerator. The system further comprising a controller which generates at least one control signal for setting the magnitude of a supply stream of the amount of material to the incinerator and/or for setting the amount of air which is supplied to the incinerator by means of the air supply means. The controller controls the at least one control signal, such that by the steam generator an amount of steam per unit time is generated which is equal to a first value and/or that by the air supply means so much air is supplied that an amount of oxygen is present in the incinerator which is equal to a second value. The system further comprises at least one protective circuit which lowers the first value or the second value when the at least one control signal exceeds a predetermined maximum value.

    摘要: A microprocessor-controlled triac switching circuit for an igniter, having line voltage and igniter current input signals to a microprocessor for determining power to the igniter. Upon determining the line voltage, the microprocessor selects from a look-up table a corresponding triac-switching sequence intended to drive the igniter to a power level proven to ignite gas. The igniter current resulting from the switching sequence is fed to the microprocessor, which determines the actual power and an offset value. The offset enables adjustment by shifting sequences, to achieve the pose level at which the igniter is proven to ignite gas.

    摘要: A gas furnace control circuit combines an igniter circuit and a rectification flame detection circuit. Pulsating current is applied respectively to inducer and gas valve relay coils to actuate the furnace. A rectifier supplies flyback pulses from the inducer relay coil to a capacitor arrangement to accumulate flyback voltage. An ignition transformer has its secondary connected to the igniter and flame detection probe for generating an ignition arc. A hysteresis switch is coupled between the capacitor and the primary of the ignition transformer discharges current from through the primary whenever the stored flyback voltage reaches a predetermined threshold. Another capacitor is connected to the gas valve relay coil. A transistor has a signal impedance connected with its drain or power electrode to define an output terminal. A resistor network has a first resistor with one end connected to the capacitor and a its other end connected to the gate or control electrode of the transistor. A second resistor is connected between the gate and source electrodes of the transistor. The ignition transformer secondary is also connected with the first resistor, so that the igniter and flame detection probe is connected through said transformer secondary and through the first resistor to the transistor. The transistor output is in a first state if flame is present, and in a second state if flame is not present in the burner.

    摘要: A flame measuring device, in particular for use in a regulating device for a burner, includes an ionization electrode which is arranged in a flame region of the burner. An ac voltage is applied to the ionization electrode whereby a dc voltage component is superimposed on an ionization current that flows through a resistor connected to the ionization electrode. The flame region influences the ac voltage and the dc voltage at a blocking capacitor unequally, and allows an ac voltage component to be separated from the dc voltage component by way of a first means. The separated ac voltage component can be compared to a separated-off dc voltage component by way of a second means in order to produce a pulse width-modulated signal.

    摘要: A fuel oil supply circuit that includes two bypass mechanisms for burner startup including an electrical valve bypass in parallel circuit with a mechanical valve bypass. The fuel oil supply circuit includes an oil pump that is adapted to pressurize fuel oil and a downstream regulating valve assembly that is adapted to regulate pressurized fuel flow to the nozzles of the burner. A solenoid valve controls flow of pressurized fuel oil through the regulating valve assembly to the nozzles. The solenoid valve has a first state keeping the regulating valve assembly closed, and a second state allowing the regulating valve assembly to open. A diaphragm valve is fluidically connected to the pump in parallel circuit with the regulating piston assembly to provide an alternative bypass mechanism as a backup for the electrical solenoid valve.
