    摘要： A burst temperature indicator system for determining when an electrical contact or other component reaches a predetermined temperature. In operation, a trace material may disperse into a surrounding environment, and be detected, when the electrical component reaches a predetermined threshold temperature. One or more foil barriers may be ruptured or broken by temperature-induced gas pressure. According to another aspect of this disclosure, a rupture disk may be burst at a predetermined temperature to generate, or enable emission of, a light signal. According to another aspect, a rupture disk device acts as, or is associated with, an engine to drive one or more electro-mechanical and/or acoustic devices to signal the occurrence of a predetermined temperature.

    摘要： A slew rate detection circuit connected to a sensor detects when an analog electrical signal from the sensor indicates a slew rate that exceeds a threshold value, and generates an interrupt electrical signal when the slew rate is detected as exceeding the threshold value. A control circuit determines a measurement value of the physical property in response to receiving the interrupt signal. The control circuit is connected to an A/D converter, which converts the analog electrical signal into a digital electrical signal, and performs a plurality of sensing system operations including determining the measurement value of the physical property as a function of the digital electrical signal.

    摘要： In the preferred form, a closed tube is provided with fixed shoulders on the opposite sides of a ring-shaped elastic seal member and a washer surrounding and having close fit with a rod extending into a viscous silicone thermal expansion fluid. At the open end of the tube the rod has a shoulder adapted on the inward movement to engage a double throw switch to move it from engagement with an outer contact into engagement with an inner contact. The rod is urged inwardly by a coil spring having its inner end pressing against a spring retainer fixed to the rod and having its outer end pressing against a second seal ring surrounding the rod for preventing leakage into an outer part of the tube.
