摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for using a drone to test monitoring system sensors. In one aspect, the drone perform operations that include navigating from a first location of a property towards a second location of the property, detecting a sensor that is installed at the property, interrupting, by the drone, navigation through the property from the first location of the property towards the second location of the property to initiate a test of the detected sensor and (ii) determining a sensor test type for the detected sensor, administering a sensor test to the detected sensor, wherein the sensor test is based on the determined sensor test type, evaluating results of the administered test, storing data describing the results of the administered test, and continuing navigation through the property towards the second location of the property or towards another location of the property.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for determining relative and absolute positions and orientations of a detector and an inspection part of a CT system. In some cases positions/orientations of the detector and the inspection part can be defined, at least in part, by tilt angles relative to reference axes and/or planes defined by various combinations of the reference axes. In some embodiments, sensors coupled to the detector and to a stage assembly having the inspection part coupled thereto can be used to determine the tilt angles of the inspection part and the detector, respectively. Data from the sensors characterizing tilt angles of the detector and the inspection part can be used to adjust projectional radiographs of the inspection part to correct for the mechanical wobble of the stage. By using tilt data to adjust projectional radiographs, the quality of tomographic images and 3-dimensional reconstructions of the inspection part can be improved.

摘要: Various types of systems or technologies can be used to collect data in a 3D space. For example, LiDAR (light detection and ranging) and RADAR (radio detection and ranging) systems are commonly used to generate point cloud data for 3D space around vehicles, for such functions as localization, mapping, and tracking. This disclosure provides improvements for processing the point cloud data that has been collected. The processing improvements include analyzing point cloud data using trajectory equations, depth maps, and texture maps. The processing improvements also include representing the point cloud data by a two dimensional depth map or a texture map and using the depth map or texture map to provide object motion, obstacle detection, freespace detection, and landmark detection for an area surrounding a vehicle.

摘要: A thermal sensor may include a housing having a thermal contact member, an indicator coupled to the housing, and a thermal sensing element disposed in the housing in thermal communication with the thermal contact member. The thermal sensor may also include an actuator element in communication with the indicator and thermal sensing element. The thermal sensing element may be configured to expand in response to reaching a temperature threshold thereby engaging the actuator element and activating the indicator.

摘要: A thermal imaging system for a battery module enclosure that includes first and second battery module enclosure components between which a weld is formed includes a thermal imaging camera that focuses on the first and second battery module enclosure components within a predetermined amount of time after the weld is formed and that acquires a thermal signature. A control module includes an image processing module that receives the thermal signature and that locates a predetermined reference point in the thermal signature. An image comparison module receives the thermal signature and uses the predetermined reference point to compare the thermal signature to a template signature in order to verify structural integrity of the weld. The image comparison module computes a relative measure of deviation of the thermal signature from the template signature and identifies the weld as defective when the relative measure of deviation is greater than a predetermined value.

摘要: An electronic thermometer contains inside its main body not only a temperature detecting device and a display device for displaying the measured body temperature but also a buzzer for outputting a warning sound. The buzzer is formed with a piezoelectric plate on an oscillating plate, having an elongated shape and being securely supported only at mutually opposite end parts in its longitudinal direction, and these end parts remain fixed in the primary mode of oscillation. A resonance chamber is formed between the buzzer and its support structure. A buzzer cover, which serves to secure the buzzer by contacting it only at its end parts, also contacts the main body in a direction opposite from the support structure so as to propagate the buzzer oscillations to the main body.
