摘要： A remote control device includes a rotary control member that can be selectively moved between first and second configurations, a transmission system suitable for mechanically linking the rotary member to a control lever of an electrical device. The movement of the rotary control member drives the control lever to move respectively between first and second positions. The rotary control member is to be mounted on a side walls of a housing, the transmission system includes a first pinion, secured in rotation with the rotary control member about a first axis, a second pinion, meshed with the first pinion and rotationally mobile about a second fixed axis at right angles to the first fixed axis and intended to be coupled mechanically with the control lever to move this lever when the second pinion is moved in rotation.

摘要： A rotating handle device formed by the the mounting of an assembly including an attachment base that receives a grip and a sliding button, a sliding limiting drive member, and a fixing cover. The fastening between the sliding button, grip, attachment base, and fixing cover is achieved by pressure fastening engagements snap-fits. The assembly includes a mounting method that prevents removal of the grip from the attachment base unless the sliding button is removed first, and a mounting or dismounting process between the grip and the attachment base that may only take place upon the coincidence between pairs of flaps and passing recessions.

摘要： A breaker actuator includes a slide plate, at least one actuator lever, and a drive plate. The slide plate is linearly movable. The actuator lever is rotatable about a pivot. The actuator lever engages the slide plate and rotational movement of the actuator lever is actuatable by linear movement of the slide plate. The drive plate is moveable between an off position and an on position and is actuatable by rotational motion of the at least one actuator lever. A method for actuating a breaker includes moving a slide plate linearly from a first position to a second position, rotating at least one actuator lever about a pivot from a first position to a second position by the linear movement of the slide plate, and moving a drive plate in front of an electrical breaker from an off position to an on position by the rotational motion of the actuator lever.

摘要： A manual operator for opening and closing an electrical switch, including a switch-driving element, a relatively rotatable handle element, and a resilient transmission, e.g., a leaf spring or springs, extending between the two elements. An abutment is fixed to one of the elements and a follower is fixed to the other, the abutment engaging the follower only after the resilient transmission has been tensioned by rotation of the handle element. When the driving element engages a portion of the switch mechanism, initial rotation of the handle causes the resilient transmission to be tensioned and the abutment to engage the follower. Further rotation of the handle is transmitted through the abutment and follower to the driving element to initiate the movement of the switch mechanism, following which the tensioned resilient transmission instantly shifts the switch mechanism through the remainder of its movement to snap the switch open or closed. A latch optionally rigidly interconnects the handle and driving elements to bypass the resilient transmission and transmit any rotation of the handle directly to the driving element.

摘要： A molded knob of the type which frictionally engages and slips over the end of a shaft. The knob has a hub with a shaft receiving socket formed therein. The socket has a flat wall adapted to engage a flat on the shaft. Elongated fingers which are formed as part of the hub extend into the socket on the opposite side of the socket from the flat wall. The fingers extend towards and are aligned with each other. They are laterally deflectable away from the flat wall of the socket upon insertion of the shaft into the socket. An abutment is located at the base of each finger. One of the abutments is engageable with the shaft when the shaft is rotated to limit further deflection of the fingers by the shaft due to twisting caused by the application of torque to the shaft. In a modified form, a stop is provided to engage the fingers to limit the amount of deflection of the fingers in place of the abutments.
