摘要:
A compressed-gas circuit breaker is provided with two contacts arranged coaxially opposite one another, at least one of which can be driven to move in the axial direction. The two contacts define in the interrupted state a contact gap. The circuit breaker also has a nozzle, made of insulating material, which is connected to the driven contact and which surrounds at least part of the contact gap. The invention calls for a high-strength plastic tube abutting coaxially against the outside of the insulating nozzle in order to prevent the nozzle from expanding radially as a result of an increase in arc-extinguishing gas pressure.

An electric power circuit breaker includes two switching elements which can move, relative to each other, in an extinguishing gas and which contain, in each case, at least one main current contact and at least one arcing contact. A cylindrical coil is connected between the arcing contact and the main current contact of one of the two switching elements. This coil is provided with a ferromagnetic core, as a result of which the magnetic field of the coil exhibits a high field strength at the position occupied by an arc-commutating ring which is connected to the coil. In this circuit breaker, the commutation of heavy currents from the main current path to the coil path is accomplished in a reliable manner at all times and by simple means. This is achieved when the core is installed in a manner permitting its displacement along the axis of the coil. When the circuit breaker is in the circuit making position the core passes through no more than a portion of the interior of the coil. It closes off the interior of the coil and is flush with the arc-commutating ring when the circuit breaker is in the current breaking position.

A circuit interrupter comprising an interrupting unit including an arc extinguishing chamber containing an arc extinguishing fluid and a pair of separable contacts disposed within the arc extinguishing chamber. The interrupter also comprises a fluid pressurizing means for compressing the arc extinguishing fluid in response to the contact opening operation and puffing the compressed fluid at an electric arc established between the separated contacts, and a pressure storing means for temporarily storing the compressed high pressure fluid for puffing the arc extinguishing fluid with the stored fluid pressure upon a decrease of the arc current to the zero value.

A gas-blast circuit-breaker which includes at least one cutout chamber including at least one blast valve with two seats, one of which, when the valve is opened, is situated on the blast-gas exit path. The breaker is characterized in that a moving slide valve is associated with the valve, in such a manner that opening the valve causes a slightly delayed movement of the slide valve in the same direction as the valve and along the same axis, so that it masks said valve seat situated on the exit path of the hot blast-gases arriving from extinguishing the arc when the blast-gases flow towards the outside; the slide valve being opened by compressed gas contained in the gas-blast circuit-breaker.
