    摘要: A connector circuit assembly for use in an implantable medical device, and a method of making the assembly that includes a core portion formed of a thermoplastic material using either an injection molding process or a machining process. This core portion is adapted to be fitted with at least one electrically-conductive circuit component such as a connector member, a set-screw block, or a conductive jumper member. In one embodiment of the invention, the core portion includes multiple receptacles or other spaces that are adapted to be loaded with the various circuit components. The core assembly is positioned into a second-shot mold assembly, and a second thermoplastic material is injected into the mold so that the second thermoplastic material extends over and adheres to the core portion and the circuit component.

    摘要: A pair of thin-walled portions 6 are formed on packing 3 between a seal lip portion 92 and a vent hole in a connector housing 1. A pair of short-shot preventing ribs 8 are located contiguously to the thin-walled portions 6. The short-shot preventing ribs 8 are formed in a mold between the seal lip portion 92 and the vent hole (vent core 5), and a packing material is allowed to reach the vent hole via a narrow gap between each short-shot preventing rib 8 and the connector housing 1. Consequently, the flow resistance of the packing material increases, so that the packing material is preferentially filled in seal lip portions 91 and 92. The short-shot preventing ribs 8 may be formed on the connector housing 1 instead of the mold. The pair of short-shot preventing ribs 8 are formed, and the packing material is allowed to reach the vent hole.

The electrical connector includes a baseplate with a central hole and a peripheral wall joined to the baseplate and protruding below the baseplate. The peripheral wall slidingly engages the pressure sensor capsule as the pressure sensor stem passes through the central hole to protrude above the baseplate. A protective wall joined to the baseplate protrudes above the pressure sensor stem and protects the pressure sensor stem.     摘要: A battery connection plate is provided. A terminal and a busbar are insert-molded in a plate body. The terminal is screw-connected to an electrode of a battery with a nut. The terminal is provided with a hole portion and a projecting portion having an opening communicating with the hold portion, and the opening faces in the screwing direction of the nut. The plate body is provided with a pin portion and projections are arranged on both sides of the pin portion, and the terminal is provided with a through hole for the pin portion. The projections are positioned adjacently to both sides of the terminal, and the terminal is secured to the plate body by melting the pin portion and the projections. The terminal body is formed integrally with the busbar with use of a metal sheet, and the busbar is formed by double-folding back the metal sheet. The terminal body may be connected to the busbar through a narrow portion. The plate body is provided with a pair of guide walls having respective slit-like insertion-fixing portions to receive the electric wire connected to the terminal, and a groove portion for arranging the electric wires is formed between the guide walls.

    摘要: A press fit contact for through hole mounting has a longitudinal axis and a contact portion along the axis for mounting with an associated electrical component to make electrical contact therewith. A leg portion is configured and dimensioned to be inserted through a mounting plated through hole of a support member. The leg portion includes an interference element along at least a portion thereof dimensioned to be receivable within the plated through hole to establish a press-fit or interference-fit and mechanical and electrical contact with the plating on the mounting hole. An intermediate portion is provided between and integrally formed with the contact and leg portions, the portions all being generally aligned along the longitudinal axis. A pressure-bearing, in each instance element, in the form of one or more holes and with or without associated blade tabs, is formed on the intermediate portion within the perimeter or inside the lateral edges defined by the intermediate portion. A pressure member element in the form of a molded plastic member is arranged on the intermediate portion to encapsulate the pressure-bearing, in each instance element or elements to transmit forces applied thereto acting along the longitudinal axis in the direction from the contact portion towards the leg portion. In this manner, insertion forces applied to the pressure-applying member are transmitting to the intermediate and leg portions for facilitating insertion of the leg portion through the plated through hole by coupling the forces to the pressure bearing elements or elements.
