    摘要: A dual motor configuration 10 is provided for driving two fans for moving air to cool an engine. The dual motor configuration includes a primary brushless motor 18 constructed and arranged to be electronically controlled to drive a first fan 16 over a range of speeds. A secondary brush motor 24 is constructed and arranged to be electronically controlled to drive a second fan 22 over a range of speeds. The secondary brush motor includes an electronic switching device 26 associated therewith for receiving a pulse width modulated signal for controlling speed of the secondary brush motor. Thus, different combinations of speeds of the first and second motors can be selectively chosen to meet cooling requirements.

    摘要: For enhancing the operational safety of an electric drive unit of a vehicle comprising a generator (G), which is operated by a combustion machine (V), and drive motors (M1, M2), which are connected to said generator via a direct-voltage intermediate circuit, the generator and drive motors are each subdivided into partial units (TG1, TG2; TM11-TM22), and these partial units have partial power electronics units (TGLE1, TGLE2; TM1LE1, TM1LE2 . . . ) associated therewith. The mutually corresponding partial units of generator, motors and power electronics units each constitute a drive circuit (AK1, AK2) of their own, with control signals being supplied to components thereof by a specifically assigned system control unit (1, 2). The system control units that are interconnected via an information exchange channel (IAK) can undertake compensation measures in their drive circuit or in the other drive circuits in the event of a complete or partial failure of a drive circuit (AK1, AK2). As an alternative to the assignment of one system control unit (1, 2) at a time to a drive circuit, there may also be several system control units connected to the individual drive circuits via bus connections or via multiple single channels.

    摘要: An electric vehicle driven by electric motors is provided. The vehicle is switched between forward travel, neutral and reverse travel by a directional speed lever which allows adjustment of the vehicle speed. When the directional speed lever passes through a neutral region at a high speed during forward travel of the vehicle, the vehicle is controlled to shift to normal reverse operation after a lapse of a predetermined period of time since the rotational speed of the electric motors becomes zero, thereby to avoid application of a heavy load to drive circuits for the electric motors.

    摘要: A device for monitoring the state of relay contacts is especially useful for controlling motor windings in air conditioning systems. When a first relay switch, which is operative to supply power to a first motor winding does not open as desired, a switch monitoring module responsively controls the second relay switch energization to prevent the second relay switch from being closed. This prevents power that would be supplied to a second motor winding from being also supplied to the first motor winding and causing potential damage to the first motor winding. A disclosed example includes an opto isolator that is energized only when the first relay switch is open as desired. The opto isolator controls an output signal to a second relay control portion, which only operates the second relay if the first relay has opened as required.

    摘要: A motor network control system is provided which is capable of reducing the wiring length of a power cable and in which upon replacement of a motor or an inverter of a specific motor unit, no adverse influence is exerted on the other motor units. A power cable 7 and a communication cable 8 connecting between a plurality of motor units 30a-30c, each of which includes a motor 4, an inverter 5 and a communication part 6, extend successively from a power supply 1 and a network control computer 2, respectively, to the respective motor units 30a-30c in such a manner that the motor units are connected with each other in a cascade manner from a preceding one to a following one. In addition, each of the motor units includes a connection board 11 on which an inverter 5 and a communication part 6 are installed. The power cable 7 and the communication cable 8 are connected with the respective inverters and the respective communication parts through connection terminal blocks, respectively, each of which includes a cable connector for connecting the cables from a preceding motor unit and the cables to a following motor with each other, and a terminal block fixture for detachably fixing the associated connection terminal block to the associated inverter or the associated communication part.

    摘要: A servo controller capable of driving a single movable member by two motors with high loop-gain setting to obtain a quick response. A servo controller includes two position controllers associated with respective motors and a damping controller. Each of the position controllers has a position control section to output a velocity command based on an identical position command from a host controller and a position feedback value from an associated position detector, a velocity control section to output a current command based on the velocity command and a velocity feedback value from an associated velocity detector, and a current control section to output a voltage command based on the current command and a current feedback value from an associated current detector. The damping controller outputs a current command correction value for compensating an interference between the two motors based on the velocity feedback values from the velocity detectors for the two motors. The current command correction value is added to or subtracted from the current command in the position controller for one of the two motors and is subtracted from or added to the current command in the other position controller for the other of the two motors.
