摘要: A method of operating a drive circuit for parallel electric motors is provided. The method includes receiving measurements of stator phase currents in the parallel electric motors. The method includes selecting a target PM motor, from among the parallel electric motors, that generates a largest torque output. The method includes executing a vector control algorithm to generate a complex command voltage vector for the target PM motor. The method includes generating and transmitting a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal based on the complex command voltage vector for controlling an inverter. The method includes operating the inverter according to the PWM signal to supply three-phase alternating current (AC) power to the parallel electric motors.

摘要: A power converter comprises an inductor coil whose first pole is connected to an input terminal of the power converter, a controllable switch between the ground and a second pole of the inductor coil, a first unidirectionally conductive component providing a path for electric current from the inductor coil towards an output terminal of the power converter when the controllable switch is non-conductive, and an over-current protector at the output terminal. The power converter comprises a second unidirectionally conductive component for conducting electric current from the input terminal to the over-current protector in a fault situation where voltage at the output terminal is smaller than voltage at the input terminal. Thus, the second unidirectionally conductive component constitutes a low-inductance bypass route for fault current and enables the over-current protector to react fast to a fault situation.

摘要: A power system may include a first motor, a second motor connected in parallel to the first motor, a driver configured to supply a driving current to the first motor and the second motor and a controller configured to control the driver based on the driving current and a rotating speed of the first motor, and when the rotating speed of the first motor is different from a rotating speed of the second motor, the controller may control the driver so that the rotating speed of the first motor is equal to the rotating speed of the second motor. The power system may drive two and more motors at the same speed by applying the driving voltage based on the rotating speed and the driving current of one of two or more motors, using a single driving apparatus.

The unit sets a carrier period of PWM signals to be 1/N times a calculation period in which the PWM signals are generated, performs detection of a DC current detected by the current detector in a 1/2 calculation period immediately before a calculation start timing for generating PWM signals, calculates an output voltage vector based on the detected DC current, and reflects PWM signals generated from the output voltage vector in one calculation period from a 1/2 calculation period after the calculation start timing to 3/2 control calculation periods after the same.

The example method also includes determining a first shared torque value based on the first calculated torque value and a first sharing factor, and determining a second shared torque value based on the second calculated torque value and a second sharing factor. The example method also includes determining a torque error based on the first shared torque value and the second shared torque value, and determining a first torque adjustment associated with the first motor based on the torque error.
