    摘要: A concept for facilitating a user interface for interacting with interventional medical devices depicted in an image. The positions of one or more features of at least one interventional medical device are identified. A size and shape of an interactive zone is determined for each feature, where an interactive zone (when provided on a display of a user interface) facilitates interaction with the corresponding feature and/or interventional medical device. The size of the interactive zone is chosen to be larger than the size of the feature. A position for the interactive zone is selected based on the position/position of the corresponding feature in the image. Zone information is then output to define the size, shape and position of the interactive zones with respect to the image.

    摘要: A method for operating a reconditioning apparatus for cleaning and disinfecting a medical instrument(s), the medical instrument having an internal channel(s). The method including: receiving the medical instrument(s) in a reconditioning chamber; connecting the internal channel(s) to a fluid connection of fluid connections in the reconditioning chamber; flushing the internal channel(s) with a reconditioning fluid; detecting an identifying feature of medical instrument(s) indicating a type of the medical instrument(s); comparing the detected type with data sets stored in a database and, of the fluid connections, provide an allocation of a fluid connection connected to the internal channel(s) on a basis of the identified type; and subsequent to the flushing, actuating a compressed air source to apply compressed air to the allocated fluid connection such that reconditioning fluid present in the at least one internal channel is blown out of the channel.

    摘要: A tissue expansion system includes an expandable bladder for placement beneath the skin corresponding to a tissue to be expanded, a fluid source, a pump coupled to both the fluid source and the expandable bladder to deliver inflation medium thereto, a controller for the pump, a pressure sensor for monitoring pressure within the expandable bladder and informing the action of the controller, and a carrier for holding at least the fluid source, pump, and controller. The carrier is wearable as a bra or form-fitting vest and is shaped to mimic the appearance of natural breasts for the patient. The fluid source can have an outward facing surface that is relatively rigid to maintain a curved shape mimicking that of natural breast(s). The inward facing surface of the fluid source may be flexible to conform to the shape of the underlying skin and tissue as it is expanded.

The conductive coating may have a polymer backbone with conductive particles suspended in the backbone. In some embodiments, the conductive coating may be applied directly to the surface. In other embodiments, the conductive coating may be indirectly applied by first applying a primer adhesive to the outer surface, and then applying the conductive coating over the primer adhesive.     摘要: In order to address an inability to separate portions of a sample and/or substance, in some embodiments, methods and apparatuses for separating components and/or portions of a sample are provided. For example, a sample collection container may comprise two areas within the container, one which is configured to contain a first volume of the sample, and one which is configured to contain a second volume of the sample. A float device may be configured to seal the portion of the container collecting the first volume from the portion of the container collecting the second volume, after the former portion of the container has been filled. The sample collection container may further comprise a top cap configured to further seal the two portions of the container, and to prevent leakage and/or spilling of the sample from the sample collection container.
