摘要: A method of chlorinating a antimony fluorohalide catalyst is disclosed. In one embodiment the method comprises contacting an antimony fluorohalide catalyst that contains one or more fluorines with a regenerating agent chosen from 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1233xf), 1,1,1,3-tetrachloropropane (250fb), 2-chloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropane (HCFC-244bb) and combinations of 1233xf, 250fb, and 244bb, under conditions effective to exchange at least one fluorine in the antimony fluorohalide catalyst with chlorine. The method can be used to regenerate spent antimony fluorohalide catalyst, for example regenerating SbCl5 from SbF5.

The present application prepares photocatalytic material Ag@AgCl/CA by compounding Ag@AgCl and calcium alginate gel, and the prepared photocatalytic material is shaped as small particles. The photocatalytic material Ag@AgCl/CA is used to degrade tetracycline antibiotics.

摘要: The present disclosure provides methods to produce 5-(halomethyl)furfural, including 5-(chloromethyl)furfural, by acid-catalyzed conversion of C6 saccharides, including isomers thereof, polymers thereof, and certain derivatives thereof. The methods make use of acids with lower concentrations, and allows for conversion of sugars into 5-(halomethyl)furfural at higher temperatures and faster reaction or residence times.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a composition of matter comprising purified cyclic poly(phthalaldehyde) (cPPA) and a plasticizer. The composition enables thermal processing and molding in bulk quantities, and is designed to degrade when contacted by an acid or exposed to a high enough temperature. Photodegradable cPPA containing a photooxidant is disclosed. Methods of making and recycling the composition of matter are also provided.

摘要: A catalyst for catalytic oxidation of furfural to prepare maleic acid is composed of a carbon nitride doped with a potassium salt. A method for preparing the catalyst includes mixing the potassium salt, a precursor of the carbon nitride and a solvent to obtain a mixture, and drying and calcining the mixture to obtain the catalyst. A use of the catalyst in catalytic oxidation of furfural to prepare maleic acid, wherein the maleic acid is prepared by the step of oxidizing furfural in a solvent in the presence of the catalyst. The invention has the advantages that by using the method provided by the invention to prepare maleic acid, the conversion rate of furfural can be 99% or more and the yield of maleic acid can be up to 70.40%.
