摘要: Methods for producing supported catalysts containing a transition metal and a bound zeolite base are disclosed. These methods employ a step of impregnating the bound zeolite base with the transition metal, fluorine, and high loadings of chlorine. The resultant high chlorine content supported catalysts have improved catalyst activity in aromatization reactions.

摘要: To provide a structured catalyst for catalytic cracking or hydrodesulfurization that suppresses decline in catalytic activity, achieves efficient catalytic cracking, and allows simple and stable obtaining of a substance to be modified. The structured catalyst for catalytic cracking or hydrodesulfurization (1) includes a support (10) of a porous structure composed of a zeolite-type compound and at least one type of metal oxide nanoparticles (20) present in the support (10), in which the support (10) has channels (11) that connect with each other, the metal oxide nanoparticles (20) are present at least in the channels (11) of the support (10), and the metal oxide nanoparticles (20) are composed of a material containing any one or two more of the oxides of Fe, Al, Zn, Zr, Cu, Co, Ni, Ce, Nb, Ti, Mo, V, Cr, Pd, and Ru.

摘要: Disclosed is a process for the conversion of acyclic C5 feedstock to a product comprising cyclic C5 compounds, such as for example, cyclopentadiene, and catalyst compositions for use in such process. The process comprising the steps of contacting said feedstock and, optionally, hydrogen under acyclic C5 conversion conditions in the presence of a catalyst composition to form said product. The catalyst composition comprising a crystalline aluminosilicate having a constraint index of less than or equal to 5, and a Group 10 metal, and, optionally, a Group 11 metal, in combination with a Group 1 alkali metal and/or a Group 2 alkaline earth metal.

摘要: A method of reactivating a spent catalyst comprising a metal and a catalyst support, the method comprising redispersing the metal in the spent catalyst to produce a redispersed spent catalyst, contacting the redispersed spent catalyst with a reactivating composition to produce a redispersed, reactivated spent catalyst, and thermally treating the redispersed, reactivated spent catalyst to produce a reactivated catalyst. A method comprising employing a fresh aromatization catalyst in one or more reaction zones for a time period sufficient to produce a spent catalyst, reducing the amount of carbonaceous material associated with the spent catalyst to produce a decoked spent catalyst, contacting the decoked spent catalyst with a redispersing composition to produce a decoked redispersed spent, contacting the decoked redispersed spent catalyst with a reactivating composition to produce a decoked redispersed reactivated spent catalyst, and thermally treating the decoked, reactivated spent catalyst to produce a reactivated catalyst.
