    摘要: A method for manufacturing a mold element using a manufacturing device comprising a die and a counter-mold defining a molding cavity in the closed position, comprises: opening the manufacturing device; placing at least one insert 22, produced by laser sintering, against a molding surface of the die; mounting at least one wedge 28 on the die so as to bear against said insert in order to immobilize it relative to said molding surface; closing the manufacturing device, the counter-mold pressing onto said wedge in order to keep said insert pressed against said molding surface; injecting aluminium into the molding cavity of the manufacturing device; opening the manufacturing device; and extracting from the manufacturing device the mold element provided with a molding face formed by at least part of said insert and by the aluminum.

    摘要: A rotor of a rotary dynamoelectric machine incudes a magnetically conductive body, having substantially axially running slots distributed around the circumference. A squirrel cage includes electrical conductors which are arranged in the slots. The electrical conductors are electrically contacted at the two end faces of the rotor by short-circuit rings. The magnetically conductive body includes a base body and at least two further additional bodies, which axially adjoin the base body. A first one of the at least two additional bodies directly axially adjoins the end face of the base body, and a second one of the at least two additional bodies and optionally any further additional body axially adjoin the first additional body. The slots have radially exposed slot portions in the axial end regions of the rotor such that the conductors can be moved radially outward.

    摘要: A transaction device includes a metal layer with one or more discontinuities in the metal layer. Each discontinuity comprises a gap in the metal layer extending from the front surface to the back surface, including at least one discontinuity that defines a path from the device periphery to the opening. A transponder chip module is disposed in the opening. A booster antenna is in communication with the transponder chip module. The device may include at least one fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate material layer. The transponder chip module and the booster antenna may comprise components in a payment circuit, with the metal layer electrically isolated from the payment circuit. The booster antenna may be formed on or embedded in the fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate material layer. Processes for manufacturing transaction devices including a metal layer with one or more fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate material layers are also disclosed.

    摘要: An assembly is provided for a gas turbine engine. This gas turbine engine assembly includes a split case structure. The split case structure includes a first wall, a second wall, a first case segment and a second case segment. The first wall extends axially along and circumferentially about an axial centerline. The second wall extends axially along and circumferentially about the axial centerline. The second wall is radially outboard of and axially overlaps the first wall. The first case segment is configured to form a first portion of the first wall and a first portion of the second wall. The second case segment is configured to form a second portion of the first wall and a second portion of the second wall. The second case segment is circumferentially adjacent and attached to the first case segment at a joint.
