    摘要: A mutual-lapping device and mutual-lapping method for improving processing precision based on the principle of error averaging is proposed. The device including driving friction wheel, driving belt pulley, transmission belt A, connecting rod A, rotation shaft segment A, multi-ball sleeve, mutual-lapping gear A, tension spring, driven friction wheel, pendulum bar of the driven friction wheel, driven belt pulley, transmission belt B, connecting rod B, pressure spring of tensioning pulley, tensioner mechanism, rotation shaft segment B and mutual-lapping gear B. By mutual lapping the high-precision gears, not only the pitch deviation, tooth profile deviation, helix deviation and runout can be reduced synchronously, but also the machining cost is low. Meanwhile, the effect of improving pitch accuracy, profile accuracy, helix accuracy and runout accuracy and reducing surface roughness is remarkable.

    摘要: A bending state known as “coning,” in which the amount of bending of the flexspline gradually decreases in accordance with the distance from the open end of the spline, occurs in cup-type or “silk hat”-type wave gear devices. A tooth profile in which the tooth depth is kept constant and in which the bottom lands and top lands are parallel to each other along the tooth trace direction is used as the basic tooth profile for the circular spline and the flexspline of the wave gear device. A taper surface is formed on a part of the top land near the open end of the flexspline in the basic tooth profile, whereby a modified tooth profile is obtained. The modified tooth profile is employed as the tooth profile for both of the splines. Both of the splines can be caused to mesh together without generating coning-induced interference. Both of the splines can also be subjected to gear cutting by a simple process using a typical machining mechanism.

The gear has a gear tooth profile conjugate to a gear basic-cutter tooth-profile having an addendum with a convex portion having an addendum point proximal to a pitch line and a dedendum with a concave portion having a dedendum point proximal to the pitch line. The convex portion is complementary with a corresponding portion of a mating-gear basic-cutter tooth-profile dedendum. The concave portion is complementary with a corresponding portion of the mating-gear basic-cutter tooth-profile addendum. A transition zone between the addendum point and the dedendum point has a predetermined width. The gear basic-cutter tooth-profile has a predetermined half pitch relief at the pitch line and continuity of profile and continuity of slope at the addendum point.

In order to be able to carry out other cutting methods of machining in addition to a milling of a workpiece, the invention proposes providign individual electric drives (6, 7) for workholder (2) and toolholder (5), which drives are connected by an electronic positive drive device (13) and can individually be disconnected from it, the toolholder (5) on its part being seated on a tool slide (16) which is displaceable along the axis of the toolholder and on which there is also arranged a supplementary toolholder (18) which can be brought into working position by relative movement with respect to the tool slide (16).

    摘要: A method and apparatus for making rotary die racks having an elongated shape including a partially circular forming face of less than 180.degree. and a flat mounting surface that faces in the opposite direction as the forming face. Cast metal blanks of the die racks are secured to a rotatable spindle in a side-by-side relationship to turn the forming faces. Forming projections, i.e. teeth that extend parallel to the axis of the forming face, are then cut in the turned face. Heat treating of the die racks is then performed before mounting thereof on a fixture to perform a finish grinding of the teeth. The spindle preferably includes a spindle member and a central shaft on which the spindle member is mounted for rotation. The fixture includes a pair of spaced end plates and a bed that extends between the end plates and has a stop and an adjustable positioner for clamping the die racks.

    摘要: A toothed (spline) coupling for torque transmission between rotatable members comprises a sleeve formed as an internal gear (toothed body) snugly receiving an externally toothed wheel. The teeth of the sleeve define a pitch annulus deviating from the circular and coinciding with the pitch circle of the inner externally toothed gear in three locations equispaced around the coupling''s rotation axis, i.e. at angles of 120*. Except at these three locations the pitch annulus of the sleeve lies outside the inner gear''s pitch circle. In this manner only three teeth of the inner gear fit snugly into the splines of the sleeve. On application of torque to the coupling the sleeve deforms and most of the teeth of the gear fit into the splines for best torque transmission. It is also possible to form the gear wheel with three teeth lying on a pitch circle and all of its other teeth lying slightly inside this circle. In such an arrangement the teeth and splines are spaced at up to 60* from one another.
