摘要: Described herein are paddlecraft such as kayaks modified to include a motor to assist the paddling action of a user of the paddlecraft. The paddlecraft has a motor driven propeller located in an elongated channel within a paddlecraft base which drives water flow from an inlet side to an outlet side of the motor driven propeller via the elongated channel to drive movement of the paddlecraft. At least one movement sensor may be located on the paddlecraft and motor driven propeller actuation is driven by a user when the at least one movement sensor senses paddling movement by the user. A network comprising multiple paddlecraft and movement sensor communication is also described along with a method of assisting a paddlecraft user to generate motion.

摘要: A computing apparatus that is integrated within a flotation module, the system obtaining the energy required to power its computing operations from waves that travel across the surface of a body of water on which the flotation module sets. Additionally, the self-powered computing apparatus employs novel designs to utilize its close proximity to the body of water and/or to strong ocean winds to significantly lower the cost and complexity of cooling their computing circuits.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a gas engine and a ship provided with the same, the gas engine making it is possible to ensure a distance that enables fuel and an oxidizing agent to mix, and to evenly mix the oxidizing agent and the fuel even if the flow rate of gas traveling towards intake pipes varies. A gas engine (1) comprises: an intake passage (10) through which a gas flows; a plurality of intake pipes (12A, 12B) where the intake passage (10) branches apart at a branching section (14) that is downstream in the gas flow direction, the intake pipes opening to a cylinder (16) at the downstream end; and a fuel injection means (31) that injects fuel into the intake passage (10). The fuel injection means (31) is provided upstream of the branching section (14) in the gas flow direction, and injects varying quantities of fuel into the plurality of intake pipes (12A, 12B).

摘要: Techniques for providing instructions to an operator of a sea vessel via a computing device are described. The computing device can request, from another computing device, instructions regarding one or more of an intended course and action plan for the sea vessel, which can include at least one navigational instruction and/or deployment instruction. The computing device can send data to a display device to cause a prompt to be displayed. The prompt can include options regarding the at least one instruction. The computing device can send state information of the sea vessel to the other computing device. The state information can include the received input and location information of the sea vessel. Additionally, data can be received by the computing device from a shore based operator and data can be sent to one or more clients on shore.

摘要: A boat comprises a hull, a primary steering mechanism carried by the hull, a control station located on the hull, a helm located at the control station, and a thruster system carried by the hull. The primary steering mechanism, such as a rudder, is operable via the helm with a helm input being derived from operation of the primary steering mechanism thereby. The thruster system includes at least one thruster mounted to the hull, distinct from the primary steering mechanism, and a controller. The controller receives the helm input and is configured with program instructions to operate the at least one thruster responsive to the helm input to supplement a corresponding movement of the hull. The controller can also automatically operate the thruster responsive to direction, speed and ballast inputs.

摘要: A mount for mounting a drive module to a watercraft is described herein. The mount in-use with the drive module is also described. The mount in-use with the drive module and the watercraft is also described. The mount includes a frame configured to be attached to the watercraft. The mount is also configured to attach to the drive module to selectively allow the drive module to translate from a first position to a second position. When in the first position, the drive module is capable of propelling the watercraft. The frame has a retainer to fix the drive module in the first position and a first spring to assist translation of the drive module toward the second position. The second position is a relatively raised position compared to the first position.
