    摘要: An axial-flow turbine assembly that includes one or more features for enhancing the efficiency of the turbine's operation. In one embodiment, the turbine assembly includes a turbine rotor having blades that adjust their pitch angle in direct response to working fluid pressure on the blades themselves or other part(s) of the rotor. In other embodiments, the turbine assembly is deployable in an application, such as an oscillating water column system, in which the flow of working fluid varies over time, for example, as pressure driving the flow changes. In a first of these embodiments, the turbine assembly includes a valve that allows the pressure to build so that the flow is optimized for the turbine's operating parameters. In a second of these embodiments, one or more variable-admission nozzle and shutter assemblies are provided to control the flow through the turbine to optimize the flow relative to the turbine's operating parameters.

The set of electro-hydro-dynamic actuators are disposed proximate to the power modules to, responsive to control of the digital programmable governor and in association with a thermal cycle of adding heat to and removing heat from the working fluid, provide influence to drive reciprocal flows of the working fluid through the power modules. The bi-directional turbines are disposed to receive the reciprocal flows and perform a kinematically independent conversion of the operating medium reciprocal flows to rotary motion power output.

    摘要: To increase in particular the level of efficiency in the conversion of sea wave energy into electrical energy there is proposed a wave power generating installation having a chamber for the positive guidance of an oscillating water column, wherein the chamber which is closed in itself below the surface of the water has an opening through which water flows into the chamber and then out again, and a means for taking mechanical energy from the oscillating water column and for converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The generating installation according to the invention is distinguished in that the means includes a float body device carried by the water column and a linear generator having a stator and an actuator, wherein the float body device is mechanically operatively connected to the actuator of the linear generator and the actuator for generating electrical energy is reciprocatingly movable by the movement of the float body device relative to the stator of the linear generator.
