    摘要: Present embodiments relate to a tie plate dispenser which aligns tie plates for dispensing based on rail base rather than outer edges of the tie plate. Thus tie plates are aligned and located in a differing manner than prior art systems. Further, the tie plate dispenser includes an opening over which a magnet is disposed to retain a tie plate over the opening. The tie plate over the opening may be selectively released by disengaging the tie plate from the magnet.

    摘要: Stations for deployment, recharging and/or maintenance of a plurality of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are disclosed herein. Such deployment stations can be implemented in a container that includes a robotic arm and a conveyor system. The robotic arm can secure a UAV hovering outside the station, move the UAV inside the station, and transfer the UAV to the conveyor. The conveyor can couple to and move multiple UAVs. Further, charging systems may be integrated in such deployment stations to charge UAVs when coupled to and moving along the conveyer. Further, process pieces may be utilized to simplify mechanical and electrical interfacing between a UAV, the robotic arm, the conveyor, the charging system and/or other systems at the UAV station.

    摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to pick and place robotic systems. An exemplary system for orienting an object comprises: a scanner configured to detect a label on the object; an upper conveyor belt; a flipping conveyor belt located at an end of the upper conveyor belt, wherein the upper conveyor belt is configured to transport the object toward the flipping conveyor belt, wherein the flipping conveyor belt is configured to, in a first orientation or position, rotate and exert a frictional force on the object to reorient the object while the object is in contact with the upper conveyor belt, wherein the flipping conveyor belt is configured to, in a second orientation or position, allow the object to drop off the end of the upper conveyor belt.
