    摘要: A pumping device has a container, an inlet pipe, a float barrel, and a discharging pipe. The container has a box containing water and a first gas, and a pressure gauge and a check valve mounted to the box. The inlet pipe connects to a water supply and has a second section erectly disposed within the box and communicating with an inside of the box. The float barrel is disposed within the box, contains a second gas, and has an opening. The second section is mounted through the opening. The discharging pipe has two opposite ends respectively communicating with a water reservoir and the inside of the box. The first gas has a pressure larger than 1 atm. The second gas has a pressure less than 1 atm. Water enters the float barrel. A water level inside the float barrel is higher than a water level inside the box.

    摘要: A water sampling assembly for sampling water within a groundwater production well includes a primary pump and a water sampler. The primary pump is positioned within the groundwater production well. Additionally, the primary pump defines at least a portion of an annulus between the primary pump and one of the support casing and the well screen. The water sampler is configured to obtain a plurality of water samples from the groundwater production well without removal of the water sampler from the groundwater production well. Additionally, the water sampling assembly can further include a flow detection assembly that is conjoined with the water sampler within a single jacket to form a conjoined system. The flow detection assembly is configured to detect a flow, i.e. a dynamic flow and/or an ambient flow, of the water within the groundwater production well.

    摘要: Disclosed embodiments concern a system and method for extracting water from a water well using a vacuum-assisted technique. Particular embodiments of the system concern using a water well with a well casing, a casing seal and a water pump within the well, and a water tank, a compressor, and a heat exchanger above ground to withdraw water from the well. In particular embodiments, the casing seal is positioned over the well casing, to which the compressor is fluidly coupled to create a reduced pressure within the well and draw water into the well. In particular embodiments, the system can be used during an entire pumping season, thus providing the ability to extract water and/or increase water extraction from the ground during dry parts of the year and/or freezing parts of the year.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an artificial aquifer for decreasing the contents of metals, metalloids, nitrate, nitrite, pesticides and organic micro contaminants in natural ground water or artificial infiltrated groundwater from surface water. The system comprising a basin of filling material creating a reaction zone, a feeding line, one or more satellite wells, at least one main well and a pumping well, whereby the feeding line is applied in the upper outer periphery of the basin and wherein the main well is connected to a pumping well via a bottom outflow provided with a regulating valve to maintain a given level of water in the aquifer. The invention further relates to a method for purifying water.

    摘要: The gate for each conduit, of a preferably multiple conduit installation is transversally slidably mounted between full skirts. Dual hydraulic actuators drive a transversally extending rolling cam follow pin along an oblique path to slide the gate open and closed. The actuators have spring-assisted closure for fail safe operation, the actuator pistons being isolated from well pressure. Where there are two conduits so valved, the actuators for one extend longitudinally upwards from a central bulkhead, and the actuators for the other extend longitudinally downwards. Stem packing for the actuator piston rods is located in the central bulkhead. Modifications for accommodating, e.g. a third valved conduit are described. Also disclosed is a version with two, mutually inverted commonly housed gate valves controlling the same conduit.

    摘要: A pump equipped with a plurality of systems includes a first system and a plurality of second systems, each of the plurality of systems containing an enclosed gas placed in contact with an internal liquid, it being possible for the enclosed gas to be placed at a depressed pressure or at a raised pressure in relation to the pressure of surroundings external to the system by variations in level of the liquid. The respective liquid environments of the plurality of systems are connected continuously so that compression or depression of the gas enclosed in the first system leads to successive variations in the levels of liquid in the second systems following successive applications of raised pressure or depressed pressure to the gases contained in the plurality of systems so as to allow the pumping of an external liquid in contact with the internal liquid of one of the systems.

    摘要: An apparatus for activating or cleaning filter tube wells with a filter tube includes a first and second volume bodies, which are substantially adapted to the inside diameter of the filter tube and on the outer circumferential surfaces thereof are designed radially flexibly with respect to the well longitudinal axis such that a sealing effect is achieved between the outer circumferential surfaces of the respective volume bodies and the inside wall of the filter tube. A removal chamber, which can be hydraulically connected to a pump device, is formed between the first and second volume bodies and the inside wall of the filter tube. At least one equalizing tube completely penetrates the removal chamber in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus such that a hydraulic connection is established between the respective regions that adjoin the outer faces of the two volume bodies disposed opposite of the removal chamber.

    摘要: Portable, self powered water pumping apparatus for use in sampling water in remotely located wells comprises a wheeled hose reel cart which supports a long length of plastic hose or tubing. The tubing has a small diameter length of inner tubing telescoped inside itself throughout most of its length. The inner tubing passes through the wall of the outer tubing near the upper end thereof and is connected to a pressurized cylinder of gas such as a standard 14 oz. propane gas cylinder. When the lower ends of the tubes are well submerged beneath the water level in a well, admission of gas to the inner tube at its upper end will force water up through an annular space between the tubes and out the upper end of the outer tube where it can be collected. A channeled plug at the bottom of the tubes prevents the tubes from collapsing, helps to keep them straight and together as they are lowered into the well and provides partial support for a weight hanging from the bottom of the tubes.
