摘要: An automated drywalling system network that including one or more automated drywalling systems that each has a robotic arm. The automated drywalling system network can also include a computational planner that generates instructions for the one or more automated drywalling systems to perform two or more drywalling tasks associated with a target wall assembly. The two or more drywalling tasks can include a hanging task that includes hanging pieces of drywall on studs of the target wall assembly; a mudding task that includes applying joint compound to pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly; a sanding task that includes sanding joint compound applied to the pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly; and a painting task that includes painting sanded the joint compound applied to the pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly.

摘要: A masonry veneer wall cladding system may include a first layer of a ceramic based veneer, such as formed steel calcium silicate, and a second layer that is formed of a rigid thermal insulation panel such as an expanded foam. The two layers are bonded together with an air gap between the layers. The panels are mounted to supporting wall structure with wall support mounting fittings, or cleats. The fittings have a first leg and a second leg, and a web connecting the two legs. The first leg has slots for mechanical fasteners. The slots permit the fitting to slide, so a panel can be put in place, and then the fitting, or cleat can slide down to trap the panel in place. The panel has accommodations for the engaging fingers of the cleat. In one embodiment, the air gap can define the accommodation.

摘要: A vinyl siding alignment tool for verifying the alignment of vinyl siding panels around the exterior of a building. The tool is configured to verify the alignment of the panels around a corner post regardless of whether it is an acute or obtuse angle. The tool is fitted with a leveling means for providing immediate feedback to the installer. The tool further comprises a handle and a support means for providing a balanced weight about the center of gravity, making the tool easy to use with very little effort. The tool is versatile in that it allows the user to verify alignment about an interior angle using two distinct methods.

摘要: A level marking device for drywall installation is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the level marking device includes a body portion configured to be attached to a carpenter's level; and a pin member coupled to the body portion. In another embodiment, the level marking device includes a carpenter's level, the carpenter's level including a body portion and a level indicator for establishing a horizontal and/or vertical line or plane; and a pin member coupled to the carpenter's level. The pin member of the level marking device is configured to be positioned at the intersection of one side of a stud and an edge of drywall. The level marking device is configured to position one edge of the carpenter's level approximately aligned with a centerline of the stud so as to enable a guide line to be marked on the drywall that approximates the centerline of the stud.

摘要: A grout removal tool has a first long grout scraping board with an elongate through slot and a second long grout scraping board having at least two drill holes aligned with the slot for accepting screw bolts, the boards held together by screw bolts and wingnuts the boards adjustable to extend the overall working length of the tool. The tool further including a depth adjustment block mounted to one of the grout scraping boards, the block installed over threaded posts seated into the end of the host scraping board and extending through an elongate slot or slots with wingnuts, the depth adjustment block adjustable to preserve an offset dimension leveraged by an operator to remove excess grout from around a fixed feature by placing the offset block down on top of the fixed feature and removing grout around the feature according to the offset dimension.

摘要: A photovoltaic (PV) panel mounting system for a vehicle includes: a PV panel movably mounted on a vehicle panel; a first electrode electrically connected to the PV panel; a second electrode attached to the vehicle panel and electrically connected to the first electrode; and a damping mechanism elastically supporting the PV panel with respect to the vehicle panel. The damping mechanism allows the PV panel to move between a first position and a second position. The first position refers to a position in which an outer surface of the PV panel is flush with an outer surface of the vehicle panel and the second position refers to a position in which the outer surface of the PV panel is recessed from the outer surface of the vehicle panel.
