摘要: The invention relates to a cylinder head (1) with at least one recess (23) for arranging at least one gas valve (20) and at least one spark plug (15). The spark plug (15) reaches into a pre-chamber (17) and is arranged along a spark plug rotational axis (16), and the gas valve (20) is arranged along a gas valve rotational axis (19), wherein the gas valve rotational axis (19) is inclined relative to the spark plug rotational axis (16), and the distance (A) between the gas valve rotational axis (19) and the spark plug rotational axis (16) decreases as the distance to the pre-chamber (17) increases in a direction facing away from the combustion chamber (2). The aim of the invention is to provide an improved cylinder head (1) which allows an improved assembly and requires less installation space. According to the invention, this is achieved by the aforementioned cylinder head (1) in that the recess (23) for the spark plug (15) and the gas valve (20) has a surface (0) which is formed by a primary molding process, preferably a casting process, and is post-processed particularly preferably without machining.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to assemblies for engines such as pre-combustion chamber assemblies for spark ignition engines. It is known to provide a spark ignition engine with a pre-combustion chamber but it can be difficult to provide a system with good knock performance at high speed with high loads while still having reliable ignition at low speed with low load. In particular, at low speed with low load, there may be a relatively high percentage of exhaust gas residuals (EGR) in a pre-combustion chamber which can prevent ignition especially when the ignition timing is retarded during catalyst heating. Aspects of the disclosure aim to alleviate at least to a certain extent the problems of the prior art. According to a first aspect there is provided a pre-combustion chamber assembly for a spark ignition engine, the assembly having: an ignition chamber adapted to contain at least one electrode of a spark generator; the ignition chamber being adapted to communicate with a main engine combustion chamber via at least one pre-chamber port; wherein the ignition chamber communicates for removal therefrom of exhaust gas residuals. The exhaust gas residuals are preferably removed to a distinct storage chamber, more preferably via a transfer port.

At a compression stroke during a warm-up operation, the fuel is injected throughout a first period, and the air is injected throughout a second period at least partially overlapping the first period. At a power stroke during the warm-up operation, the electric discharge is caused after the fuel is injected.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to operation of a motor vehicle including a first motor configured as an internal combustion engine and a second motor configured as an electric motor. The first motor comprises a combustion chamber, an ignition source and a prechamber that is coupled fluidically to the combustion chamber and into which a portion of the ignition source is introduced. The first motor can be operated by ignition of a fuel/air mixture in the prechamber interior by the ignition source. By way of a control device, the first motor is activated in a manner dependent on a load requirement, and is operated by ignition of the fuel/air mixture in the prechamber interior by the at least one ignition source only when it is operated exclusively in a stable combustion state as a result.

摘要: A pre-chamber spark plug for a combustion chamber of a combustion engine includes a pre-chamber which has a plurality of openings and an electrode device which is disposed in the pre-chamber. An ignition spark for igniting a fuel-air mixture introduced into the pre-chamber is generatable at a spark location in the pre-chamber by the electrode device. The pre-chamber spark plug is configured to bring about a tumble-shaped flow of fuel-air mixture flowing into the pre-chamber via the plurality of openings. The tumble-shaped flow has, in a first region of the pre-chamber, a first flow part pointing upward away from the plurality of openings, and, in a second region of the pre-chamber, a second flow part adjoining the first flow part and pointing downward in a direction of the plurality of openings. The spark location is disposed at least in part in the second region.
