    摘要: Embodiments describe a method of controlling a two-stroke internal combustion engine is shown. The method includes selecting one set of two or more sets of engine parameter inputs or a weighted value of two or more sets of engine parameter inputs, determining an engine output parameter from the selection, and utilizing the determined engine output parameter to control one or more engine operations; re-selecting one set of two or more sets of engine parameter inputs or a weighted value of two or more sets of engine parameter inputs during engine operation, utilizing the reselected output parameters to adjust one or more engine operations. Each set of engine parameter inputs includes a direct measurement of crankcase pressure and engine speed and optionally one or more of barometric pressure, exhaust valve position, air temperature, engine coolant temperature, exhaust temperature, boost pressure, crankshaft position and direction of rotation, humidity, fuel pressure, fuel temperature, detonation sensor level, exhaust oxygen content, and throttle valve angle.

Specifically, this is an engine with two crankshafts, two piston heads facing each other in a single cylinder, with the following features: compact size relative to a comparable design, improved or equivalent performance to a comparable design as a result of any of the following: locating crankshafts in a different plane from the cylinder axes; the use of shared duct structures; and the use of an embedded compressor chamber for efficient operation to cover all volumetric requirements, fulfilling the entire thermodynamic cycle, and performing in addition the sweeping and overloading of air or an air/fuel mixture in the cylinder combustion chamber in each revolution of two or more crankshafts, either with or without advancement between the crankshafts.

    摘要: To allow an intake negative pressure to directly act on a fuel outlet formed on a nozzle tube, and to guide a fuel discharged from the fuel outlet in the nozzle tube to the fuel-air mixture passage. A rotary carburetor (200) has a guide plate member (42) downstream of a fuel outlet (30) located in a through-hole (14). The guide plate member (42) has both side edges (42b) away from an inner wall surface (14a) of the through-hole (14). The through-hole (14) is divided by the guide plate member (42) into a first passage portion (44) and a second passage portion (46). The first passage portion (44) communicates through a piston groove with a scavenging passage of a cylinder. The fuel discharged from the fuel outlet (30) is guided by the guide plate member (42) to the second passage portion (46) and is supplied through the second passage portion (46) to a fuel-air mixture passage (24) of an engine intake system.

    摘要: A two-stroke engine has a cylinder and a transfer channel which, in the region at bottom dead center of a piston, establishes a flow connection between a crankcase interior and the combustion chamber. The crankcase has a crankcase connecting flange for connecting to the cylinder, which has a first connecting opening and a second connecting opening. The transfer channel passes into the crankcase at the first connecting opening or the second connecting opening. At the other of the first and second connecting openings, no transfer channel passes into the crankcase. For a production series of two-stroke engines, provision is made, in one two-stroke engine of the series, which has a first cylinder, for a second connecting opening to be closed off from the cylinder, and, in one two-stroke engine of the series, which has a second cylinder, for the first connecting opening to be closed off by the cylinder.
