    摘要: An adjustable stroke mechanism has a housing with a central axis and a wall enclosing a cavity. At least one counterweight is movably disposed within the cavity. A mounting assembly is disposed within the cavity. The mounting assembly has a workpiece attachment mechanism. A stroke adjustor couples the at least one counterweight with the mounting assembly. The stroke adjustor enables the counterweight and mounting assembly to move with respect to one another such that a distance between the counterweight and the mounting assembly is variably adjusted which, in turn, variably adjusts a stroke radius of the workpiece attachment mechanism with respect to the central axis of the housing.

    摘要: An adjustable stroke mechanism for a random orbital machine including a housing having a wall enclosing a cavity, an adjuster ring surrounding the housing and having a first set of gear teeth along a first portion of an inner surface, and a second set of gear teeth along a second portion of the inner surface, a counterweight having gear teeth on an exterior surface disposed within the housing, and a bearing carriage having gear teeth disposed within the housing. At least one counterweight gear that meshes with the gear teeth of the counterweight and the first set of gear teeth of the adjuster ring, and at least one bearing carriage gear that meshes with the gear teeth of the bearing carriage and the second set of gear teeth of the adjuster ring, so that movement of the adjuster ring causes movement of both the counterweight and the bearing carriage.

    摘要: An adjustable crank assembly is provided. The adjustable crank assembly includes a crank arm having a surface with a plurality of notches, and a retention block that partially houses the crank arm and allows the crank arm to slide along an axis relative to the retention block. The retention block includes a clamping block and a locking pin, both of which being adapted to selectively engage the crank arm when the retention block is placed in a locked position, and a locking lever for transitioning between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking lever provides a compressive force to the clamping block when placed in a locked position and a retracting force to the locking pin when placed in an unlocked position.

A drive link includes a ball joint disposed in one end portion, and the ball joint is integrally mounted to one surface of an adjusting member such that the center axis of the ball joint is eccentric with respect to the center of a screw hole by a specified distance.     摘要: A crank device can produce a large torque without increasing the locus of the crank arm. The crank arm has first and second arms which are longitudinally slidably coupled together through a pinion. The second arm is formed with two sets of rack teeth on both sides of the pinion. The pinion has along its circumference a plurality of teeth which are adapted to alternately come into meshing engagement with the respective sets of rack teeth every time the crank arm makes a half turn in the same direction. Thus, the entire length of the crank arm alternately becomes maximum and minimum every time the crank arm turns by 180.degree.. By applying a driving force to the crank arm when the length of the crank arm is maximum, it is possible to produce a large torque.
