    摘要: An automatic transmission includes a clutch device having a clutch hub, a clutch drum, a friction plate, a piston, and a hydraulic chamber. The clutch drum includes an outer-side cylindrical portion, a disc-shaped first radial portion extending radially inwardly, an axial portion extending axially from the first radial portion, and a disc-shaped second radial portion extending radially inwardly from the axial portion. The piston includes a pressing portion disposed between the first radial portion and the friction plate side, and a disc-shaped piston radial portion extending radially inwardly from the pressing portion. The hydraulic chamber is provided radially inwardly from the axial portion and on the non-friction-plate side of the piston radial portion. A comb-teeth portion is provided at a radially intermediate portion of the piston radial portion. The axial portion and the piston radial portion intersect with each other in a comb-teeth shape.

    摘要: Some OEM clutch suppliers provide a clutch system that is welded closed and accordingly these systems are difficult to maintain, service and/or upgrade, for example after drive or driven (friction) disks have worn out. Typically, these systems are intended to be entirely replaced. Alternatively, in order to access the clutch internals the welded assembly needs to be cut open and only then can the disks can be replaced. After re-assembly, re-welding is required in which alignment of components is difficult to achieve and costly. The serviceable clutch housing system provides a solution to overcome the disadvantages of a non-serviceable OEM clutch product by providing a means to retrofit to the clutch allowing assembly and disassembly of the clutch, while maintaining many of the original OEM parts. This results in reduction in the maintenance cost and time required for assembly after servicing.

    摘要: Clutch assemblies that can provide variable break-away torques are described. An exemplary multi-state clutch assembly can include a shaft, a first frictional element frictionally engaged with the shaft and a second frictional element that can provide variable friction. When the second frictional element provides a low friction, second frictional element can be rotatable relative to the first frictional element, which can remain stationary relative to the shaft. When the second frictional element provides a high friction, it can be secured to the first frictional element. Hence, the first and second frictional elements can be locked together and be rotatable relative to the shaft. Tightening or loosening the second frictional element can vary the overall break-away torque provided by the clutch assembly. The multi-state clutch assembly can be in communication with a sensor or a switch that can respond to a user to change the friction of the clutch assembly.

    摘要: In a segment-type wet friction material, an inner peripheral left corner of one segment piece and an inner peripheral right corner of another segment piece are respectively cut off at a fixed angle to a center line of an oil groove. The oil grooves have first oil grooves and second oil grooves. The second oil groove has nearly a uniform width. The first oil groove has an inner peripheral corner portion that is broadened to the center line of the oil groove from a fixed height. In case of being assembled in an automatic transmission, when the segment-type friction material rotates in one direction, an automatic transmission fluid supplied from an inner circumference bumps and touches the portion that is broadened at the fixed angle at a rear side in the rotating direction. Thus, the automatic transmission fluid is positively supplied to a friction surface of the segment piece so as to restrain a contact between a separator plate and the friction surface. Consequently, excess automatic transmission fluid is discharged from the second oil groove, thereby reducing largely a drag torque by the automatic transmission fluid.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a clutch for transmission power. The clutch for transmission power according to the present invention includes flywheel, clutch cover and clutch disk assembly positioning between the flywheel and the clutch cover; moreover, the clutch disk assembly includes a clutch facing having main body portion formed with a center hole in the middle thereof, and a contacting portion wherein one side thereof faces the friction pad at said flywheel side and the other side thereof faces the press plate of said clutch cover, and the portion facing each other between the friction pad and the press plate is made of carbon-carbon composition; a spline hub being overlapped with one side of the clutch facing wherein a spline groove is formed in the inner diameter thereof; and a connecting means for connecting the clutch facing with the spline hub. Furthermore, the clutch disk assembly and the method of manufacturing the friction substance for clutch according to the invention can improve assemblability and reduce weight by simplifying it as a single part without using shock absorbing apparatus such as coil spring or the like on clutch disk assembly. In addition, the power transmission of an engine can be improved, and also it has an effect that an automobile can start softly and slippery does not occur even at abrupt acceleration by providing with carbon-carbon composition or carbon-silicon carbide composition having excellent shock absorption function.
