    摘要: An electromagnetic driving device includes a driving disc, and also a first driving device, a second driving device and a first electrical control device. When the first electrical control device is energized, the first electrical control device drives the first driving device such that the second driving device is disengaged from the driving disc. When the first electrical control device is de-energized, the first electrical control device drives the first driving device such that the second driving device is engaged with the driving disc. The device aims to provide an electromagnetic driving device able to operate and serve the function of driving even if a power supply system of an electromagnetic clutch malfunctions or a sudden power cut occurs, avoiding the series of adverse effects caused by the failure of the electromagnetic clutch.

    摘要: A constricting clutch brake element is operable to selectively transmit mechanical power between relatively movable rotating members. A plurality of backing plates are movably mounted and selectively movable radially on an annular body of the clutch brake element. The backing plates engage a plurality of friction linings. Each backing plate is configured for usage with different numbers of torques bars to meet different torque carrying capacities, all within the same envelope size. The configuration also allows plural torque bars to be relatively positioned so that they can engagingly guide the backing plate during its radial movement.

    摘要: A self-centering shaft adapter may include a first jaw, a second jaw, and an actuation mechanism, wherein the first jaw and the second jaw define an opening for receiving a shaft therein. The actuation mechanism may be able to exert a force upon the first jaw and the second jaw creating a movement in the first jaw and the second jaw in opposite directions. The movement of the first jaw and the second jaw may increase or decrease the size of the opening. In some cases, the opening may maintain a relatively constant center regardless of the size of the opening. In some cases, the actuation mechanism may be a wedge. In other cases, the actuation mechanism may be a double-threaded screw.

    摘要: A control system utilizing a compact clutch assembly which will allow an output member to be driven by either of two input members, and the output member to back drive one of said input members. The preferred embodiment involves an aircraft engine throttle control system which has a clutch assembly located adjacent to the manual operating levers in the pilot''s control console. The clutch utilizes friction shoes which are pivotally mounted on the output member and normally spring biased into frictional contact with an autopilot servo-controlled disk. For manual operation, cam means are employed to lift the frictional contact with the servodisk for direct drive of the output members by a manual throttle lever. The clutch will allow manual override through slipping of the shoes in the event the cam means fails to function, and will similarly allow a back drive of the output member and the manual lever by feedback forces from a thrust reverser actuated mechanism.
