摘要: Disclosed is a brake arrangement for a tracked vehicle. The brake arrangement comprises a brake housing. Said brake arrangement is journaled in bearings in connection to a drive unit driven drive axle configured to rotate a drive wheel member. Said brake arrangement comprises a set of ring shaped friction elements arranged about said drive axle and configured to be pressed together in the axial direction for providing a braking function. Said set of friction elements comprises a first end friction element being the outermost friction element against which pressure is configured to be provided for said braking function. Said first end friction element has a thickness in the axial direction which is thicker than the remaining set of friction elements so as to facilitate distributing an even pressure on said set of friction elements when said set of friction elements are pressed together for efficient friction braking function.

摘要: A method for servicing a portal gear box assembly and/or a braking system is disclosed. The method includes removing the wheel hub from the output shaft, removing the front cover from the housing of the assembly, and removing the clutch pack. The portal gear box/braking assembly is serviced and the clutch pack is installed over the output shaft, the place plate is re-installed, and the wheel hub is installed onto the output shaft. The portal gear box of the present disclosure includes a clutch pack comprising a first and second set of clutch plates interspersed between each other. The first set of clutch plates configured to rotate with rotation of the output shaft and the second set configured to not rotate. The clutch pack is compressible by a hydraulic piston and pressure plate, compressing the sets of the clutch plates reducing the rotation of the output shaft.

摘要: A method of making a brake assembly using recycled friction disks may comprise removing a first friction disk from a worn brake assembly, removing a portion of the first friction disk to reduce a thickness of the first friction disk, and incorporating a previously unused friction disk and the first friction disk into a brake assembly comprising unworn rotor disks made of a first material. The previously unused friction disk and the first friction disk may comprise a second material different from the first material. The thickness of the first friction disk may be different from a thickness of the previously unused friction disk.

The diffusion wedge and the pressure wedge may have contact surfaces defining an annular linear contact about the axis of rotation.

摘要: A friction plate (11) includes a plate (1A) with a disc shape and a friction material (F1, F2) that is fixed to aside face (1a) of the plate (1A). The friction material (F1, F2) is disposed so that one or both of an inner peripheral side and an outer peripheral side is nonuniform in an inner and outer peripheral direction with respect to a circumferential direction around a center (CT1) of the plate (1A). Thus, there is an increase in the amount of lubrication oil that is fed to a surface of friction material segments (F1, F2) and there is an increase in a separation force in an axial direction between a friction plate (11) and a separator plate or an end plate.
