    摘要： The caliper brake includes a brake disc configured to rotate with a wheel, an inner brake pad and an outer brake pad each disposed at one of two sides of the brake disc, a press member configured to press the inner brake pad toward the brake disc, and a caliper housing provided so that the press member is movable forward and backward, wherein the brake disc includes a hub connected to an axle, a rubber provided to come into contact with the brake pad and disposed to be spaced a predetermined distance from the hub in an axial direction, and an accommodation part formed between an inner surface of the hub and an outer surface of the rubber to accommodate at least a part of the outer brake pad.

    摘要： A disc brake system for a motorcycle having a wheel hub includes a brake disc fixed on one side of the hub to rotate with the hub. A caliper member is fixed to the motorcycle for braking engagement with the brake disc. A side panel of substantially the same diameter as the disc covers the brake disc and has a cooling air introduction port. A radial fan for inducing radial outward air flow from the brake disc is positioned adjacent the periphery of the brake disc and fixed to rotate with the hub. The hub includes a plurality of bosses extending towards the brake disc. The disc brake contains cutout portions for engagement with the bosses. The radial fan includes a ring attached to the ends of the bosses on the other side of the brake disc from the hub to retain the brake disc on the bosses. A radial flange extending from the hub covers the inner periphery of the radial flow fan.

    摘要： A disc brake has a rotatable disc to be braked, a pair of opposed brake pad assemblies mounted in a brake caliper, and actuating mechanisms including a hydraulic piston and a ball and ramp actuator for parking brake actuation to move one of the brake pad assemblies into engagement with the disc, causing the disc to slide and engage the other brake pad assembly. The other brake pad assembly is fixed on the caliper by means of an adjusting screw, the nut of which may be indexed by an actuator lever pivotally mounted on the caliper between the brake pads so that arcuate movement of the inboard brake pad due to the ball and ramp actuation causes the actuator to pivot. With increased brake lining wear, greater arcuate movement of the inboard brake pad assembly occurs and the actuator is eventually moved sufficiently to index the adjusting screw nut and thereby move the outboard brake pad assembly toward the inboard brake pad assembly.
