    Abstract: A normally closed disc clamp system includes a housing with a rotating disc, a brake ring and a pressure-enhancing ring arranged therein. When only a first chamber is supplied with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to release the rotating disc. When only a second chamber is fed with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to keep the rotating disc in the braking state, and pushes the pressure-enhancing ring to compress an elastic unit. The energy generated by the compression of the elastic unit acts on the brake ring through the fluid, so that the brake ring achieves a double pressurization effect. If the action of the fluid fails, the brake ring can still provide a braking effect to the rotating disc through the elastic unit to improve operational safety. Further, the present invention further provides a rotating table using the normally closed disc clamp system.

    Abstract: A brake device, configured to be installed directly on a driving axle or through a hub, wherein said device includes a first brake disc joined to the axle sharing rotary motion, a first container disc and a second container disc configured to be moved in the axial direction of said axle. The container discs are positioned on each side of the brake disc, such that both are configured to be moved in the axial direction towards the linings of the first brake disc and to exert a pushing pressure thereon, producing the braking of the brake disc and, therefore, of the driving axle whereon it is assembled. Furthermore, the container discs comprise an inner circuit configured to accommodate the passage of a coolant configured to cool them.

    Abstract: A braking assembly for inhibiting rotation of a wheel around a rotation axis is provided. The braking assembly includes a drive gear, an actuator, an electric braking assembly, a mechanical braking assembly including a brake pad, and a brake rotor fixedly coupled to the wheel. The drive gear rotates with the wheel and includes a pinion. The electric braking assembly includes a coil surrounding the rotation axis, and a magnetic disc assembly concentric with the coil and configured to rotate relative to the coil. The magnetic disc assembly includes a plurality of magnets at a perimeter of the disc. The actuator engages the pinion to inhibit rotation of the magnets and generate an electro motive force to inhibit rotation of the wheel. The actuator engages the brake pad to contact the rotor and inhibit rotation between the wheel and the brake pad.

    Abstract: In order to provide a disk brake for vehicles, comprising a brake disk securely connectable to a hub, a brake caliper engaging over the brake disk on oppositely located sides, at least one first brake lining movable in the direction of the brake disk in relation to the brake caliper and at least one second brake lining arranged on the brake caliper so as to be non-displaceable, with which the brake linings do not touch the brake disk in the non-actuated state, it is suggested that the brake caliper be arranged so as to be fixed in a defined geometrical correlation to the hub, that the brake caliper be positioned in relation to the brake disk when the disk brake is not actuated such that a gap exists between the brake linings and the brake disk, and that when the disk brake is actuated the first brake lining act on the brake disk in such a manner that an outer ring of the brake disk acted upon by the first brake lining moves in the direction of the second brake lining under elastic deformation of the brake disk and abuts on the second brake lining.

    Abstract: An apparatus for controlling an automatic transmission including hydraulic friction elements each of which is operable between engaged and disengaged positions in response to a working pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied thereto so as to produce a selected one of a plurality of modes of gear change. The control apparatus is operable through successive operating modes including a precharge mode of precharging the hydraulic fluid to a corresponding one of the friction elements to complete a loss stroke of the friction element, a critical pressure retaining mode of retaining the working pressure at a critical value and a feedback control mode of controlling the working pressure. A different of the rate of change of the friction element input side speed sensed during the critical pressure retaining mode from the average rate of change of the friction element input side speed sensed during the precharge mode is calculated. The critical working pressure value is corrected in a direction to decrease the calculated difference.

    Abstract: A shielded disc brake system for motorcycles having structure for inducing radial air flow past the brake disc. The device includes an annular passageway between the hub and the shield which may include a centrifugal fan positioned therein. The fan may include passageways between vanes longitudinally aligned with radial passages in the brake disc. The disc itself is mounted about its periphery on bosses extending from the hub. The fan is then bolted to the ends of the bosses to retain the disc from axial movement away from the bosses. Screening members may also be positioned about the periphery of the disc and across inlet ports to provide additional effective closure of the disc brake cavity within the side panel or panels.
