    Abstract: A fluid-filled tubular vibration-damping device including: an inner shaft member and an outer tube member connected elastically; a non-compressible fluid filling region formed between the members; and a partition wall rubber partitioning the filling region into fluid chambers at axially-opposite sides thereof connected by an orifice passage, wherein the partition wall rubber protrudes into the filling region on one of inner shaft member side and outer tube member side, while a concave groove opens to the filling region extending in a peripheral direction on an other of the sides, and a tip part of the partition wall rubber is inserted in the concave groove without being compressed in an axis-perpendicular direction and is configured to be axially pressed against an inner face of the concave groove to constitute a sealer fluid-tightly obstructing a space between the partition wall rubber and the inner face.

    Abstract: A damping assembly for a structure includes a housing with a first fixed end and a second movable opposite end. A first translatable portion of the housing is slidably movable relative to an adjacent second section of the housing, the former being fixedly secured to a base when the structure is under load. A viscous damper disposed within the housing is engaged only after the first translatable section has first moved beyond an initial predetermined distance indicative of a higher amplitude loading event. At least one biasing feature prevents the viscous damper from operating until the first translatable section has first moved beyond the initial predetermined distance.

    Abstract: A suspension (1) for a bicycle (101) comprising an elastic element (2) and a blocking/releasing device (3) of the elastic element (2).     Abstract: A damper includes a cylinder, a piston, a piston rod, a rod-side fluid chamber, a piston-side fluid chamber, an annular fluid chamber, and a stopper mechanism. The cylinder includes an inner tube and an outer tube. The rod-side fluid chamber is defined by the piston in the inner tube on a lower end side. The piston-side fluid chamber is defined by the piston in the inner tube on an upper end side. The annular fluid chamber is between the inner and outer tubes. At least one communication hole communicates the rod-side fluid chamber with the annular fluid chamber. A communication passage communicates the rod-side fluid chamber with the annular fluid chamber. A check valve in the communication passage allows fluid to flow from the annular fluid chamber to the rod-side fluid chamber and disallows the fluid to flow from the rod-side fluid chamber to the annular fluid chamber.
