    摘要: A suspension strut assembly comprises a suspension strut 10 formed by a strut housing 10a having first and second ends and an outer surface, and a strut rod 10b which is telescopically engaged in the first end of the strut housing 10a. A thread 11a is formed on a sleeve 11 which is slideably engaged on the outside of the strut housing 10a. An anti-roll bar collar 13 is screwingly engaged on the outer surface of the strut housing 10a. The collar 13 has a plate 13a extending outwardly thereof for engaging with an anti-roll bar. An annular spring seat 14 is also screwingly engaged on the outer surface of the strut housing 10b between the collar 13 and the first end of the strut housing 10a. The collar 13 and spring seat 14 are each windable along the housing 10a to vary their longitudinal positions on the housing 10a.

    摘要: A vehicle height adjusting apparatus includes: an annular movable spring receiver in sliding contact with a guide surface formed on an outer periphery of an outer tube of a damper, the movable spring receiver being configured to support one side end of a suspension spring, the suspension spring biasing the damper in an expansion direction; a driving mechanism configured to drive the movable spring receiver in an axial direction of the damper; an auxiliary spring configured to bias the movable spring receiver to the suspension spring side; and a dust cover configured to cover a portion on the guide surface, the movable spring receiver being in sliding contact with the guide surface in the portion. The dust cover is held on the outer tube by means of a spring force of the auxiliary spring.

    摘要: The invention relates to a wheel suspension for motor vehicles, with at least one upper transverse arm and two lower separated transverse arms per wheel, which are each arranged at a defined angle to one another and are articulated to the body of the vehicle and also to a wheel carrier, furthermore with a track rod which acts on the steering lever of the wheel carrier and with a McPherson strut unit which, aligned at a defined angle to the vertical, is coupled to the body of the vehicle and to the forward lower transverse arm via a rubber-metal sleeve bearing. To achieve improved driving comfort of the motor vehicle it is suggested that at least the forward lower transverse arm (12) is arranged such that the coupling point (12c) of the McPherson strut unit (20) on the transverse arm (12) when the wheel is deflected viewed in the transverse direction of the vehicle (30) runs parallel to the longitudinal axis (28) of the McPherson strut unit (20).

    摘要: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a strut assembly of a strut suspension system, which includes a shock absorber fixed to a vehicle body panel by a fixing member, provides multiple functions to an integrated insulator that surrounds a cylinder rod of shock absorber. That is, the elastic damping mass serves as an elastic mounting bush, and serves as a spring pad and a spring seat that support a spring surrounding to shock absorber by using a damping mass. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a characteristic of strut assembly that does not include various parts such as a washer, a bush, a spring pad, and a spring seat.

    摘要: A wheel suspension of a motor vehicle includes a wheel carrier which is connected to the vehicle body via wheel-guiding and wheel-steering components and which carries, by rolling-bearing mounting, at least one wheel via a wheel hub. For this purpose, the wheel carrier includes a vehicle-body-side and a wheel-side wheel-carrier part. The vehicle-body-side and the wheel-side wheel-carrier parts are connected via a sliding joint or pivot joint so as to be movable relative to one another, the wheel-carrier parts having a preferential position in relation to one another. The direction of relative movement between the vehicle-body-side and the wheel-side wheel-carrier part extends approximately in the direction of travel or in the opposite direction to the direction of travel. Moreover, between the wheel-carrier parts elements are arranged which reverse the joint movement and which return the wheel-carrier parts in the direction of the preferential position.
