摘要: A blast furnace slag level estimation method and blast furnace slag level estimation apparatus can estimate the liquid level of slag to a high degree of accuracy. An operation guidance method, method of producing hot metal, and operation guidance apparatus also provide guidance for the operation of a blast furnace based on a highly accurately estimated liquid level of slag. The blast furnace slag level estimation method includes a step (S2) of calculating a liquid level of melt containing slag for each region in a plurality of regions separated by a low permeability zone, using a physical model that takes at least one of hot metal tapping rate, slag tapping rate, hot metal production rate, and slag production rate as an input and that is based on a mass balance assuming existence of the low permeability zone with poor permeation of slag at a bottom of a furnace.

摘要: To ensure stable supply of a cold iron source to a melting chamber, a method of producing molten iron uses an electric furnace that includes: a preheating chamber; a melting chamber; an extruder located in the preheating chamber; and a video device configured to observe an inside of the melting chamber, and comprises: an extrusion process of supplying a cold iron source preheated in the preheating chamber to the melting chamber by the extruder; and a melting process of melting the cold iron source supplied to the melting chamber by arc heat to obtain molten iron, wherein in the extrusion process, a moving amount of the extruder and/or a time interval for moving the extruder is controlled based on visual information obtained from the video device.

摘要: A method for monitoring a flame of a burner of a lime kiln, including imaging a video stream showing the burner end of the lime kiln; extracting at least one image from the imaged video stream; determining, using a pretrained algorithm, from the at least one image at least one area of interest, wherein the at least one area of interest includes a part of the at least one image showing an area having at least one characteristic portion of the flame and/or burner end; calculating the area of the at least one characteristic portion based on the pixels of the at least one area of interest; and determining at least one quantity of interest based on the calculated area of the at least one characteristic portion.

摘要: A flame analytics system that may incorporate a burner, one or more sensors at the burner, a historical database connected to the one or more sensors, a model training module connected to the historical database, and a runtime algorithm module connected to the one or more sensors and the model training module. The runtime algorithm may compare realtime data from the one or more sensors and historical data from the model training module in accordance with a machine learning algorithm. The system may further incorporate a fault detection module connected to the runtime algorithm module, a fault diagnostics module connected to the fault detection module, and an enunciator connected to the fault detection module. The one or more sensors may also include having video or acoustic sensitivity of combustion in the burner.

摘要: A viewport for a combustion zone includes an inner casing having a flange extending into the combustion zone. A first layer of ceramic fiber insulation is exterior to the inner casing. A middle casing includes two panes of quartz glass separated by traverse plates. A second layer of ceramic fiber insulation is exterior to the middle casing. An outer casing is positioned to the exterior of the second layer of insulation. The middle casing includes L-shaped ledges having third and fourth layers of ceramic insulation. The panes of glass are each positioned between layers of insulation and the insulation positioned in the L-shaped ledges. The viewport is modular enabling the separation of the first layer of insulation, the middle casing, the second layer of insulation and the outer casing from the combustion zone for maintenance or repair. The viewport minimizes heat migration to the outer casing during use.

摘要: A method of recording images within a furnace using a thermal imaging camera comprising a bore scope connected to a digital camera unit is described, comprising the steps of: (a) inserting the borescope into the interior of the furnace, (b) collecting one of more images of the interior of the furnace using the thermal imaging camera with the borescope at a first position, and (c) moving the borescope from the first position to a second position and collecting one or more images of the interior of the furnace as the borescope is moved from the first position to the second position, wherein the borescope movement is guided by means of a guide device comprising a movable borescope mounting, mounted externally on the furnace.
