Abstract: A computer-implemented method can include providing via a digital display a graphical user interface including one or more selectable elements for retrieving spectrophotometer data measured from a target asset. The method also includes receiving spectrophotometer data from an end user of the graphical user interface, and retrieving from a database a plurality of closest match colors corresponding to the spectrophotometer data. In addition, the method can include displaying a plurality of selectable color tiles corresponding to the retrieved closest match colors, and further displaying an image for each of one or more selectable sub-component options corresponding to one or more alternate formulas for at least one of the selectable color tiles. The method further includes displaying both the adjusted formula and related sub-components corresponding to the user modifications, as well as options to select the color as a coating for eventual application.

Abstract: A multispectral sensor array can include a combination of ranging sensor channels (e.g., LIDAR sensor channels) and ambient-light sensor channels tuned to detect ambient light having a channel-specific property (e.g., color). The sensor channels can be arranged and spaced to provide multispectral images of a field of view in which the multispectral images from different sensors are inherently aligned with each other to define an array of multispectral image pixels. Various optical elements can be provided to facilitate imaging operations. Light ranging/imaging systems incorporating multispectral sensor arrays can operate in rotating and/or static modes.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer-implemented method, a respective device, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The method includes: obtaining color values, texture values and digital images of a target coating, retrieving from a database one or more preliminary matching formulas based on the color and/or texture values obtained for the target coating, determining sparkle points within the respective obtained images and within the respective images associated with the one or more preliminary matching formulas, creating subimages of each sparkle point from the respective images, providing the created subimages to a convolutional neural network, the convolutional neural network being trained to correlate a respective subimage of a respective sparkle point with a pigment and/or pigment class, and determining, based on an output of the neural network, at least one of the one or more preliminary matching formulas as the formula(s) best matching the target coating.
