摘要: An example method of estimating an arc duration in a circuit breaker includes receiving a first measurement corresponding to a low-frequency electric field emitted from a vacuum circuit breaker during an interruption or circuit break operation and a second measurement corresponding to a low-frequency magnetic field, vibration, or acoustic emitted by the vacuum circuit breaker during operation, aligning the first measurement and the second measurement in time, wherein the first measurement is calibrated according to a first physical constant and wherein the second measurement is calibrated according to a second physical constant; and determining, by a sensor-fusion algorithm or a trained AI model, an estimated duration value of an arc duration using the time-aligned first measurement and second measurement, wherein the arc duration corresponds to a first time corresponding to a separation of contacts of the vacuum circuit breaker and a second time corresponding to arc extinction.

摘要: A method of monitoring joint and contact conditions in an automatic transfer switch includes: collecting electrical signals at a plurality of measurement locations associated with a plurality of power sources and a load over a predetermined period, the electrical signals including voltages and load current; obtaining deltas between source voltages and corresponding load voltage measured at the measurement locations over the predetermined period; comparing the deltas with thresholds obtained during healthy condition; determining that the deltas fall outside of the thresholds; and in response to determining that the deltas fall outside of the threshold, transmitting an alert to a user, the alert indicating a detection of one or more failure modes at the measurement locations.

摘要: A diagnostic apparatus diagnoses a symptom of anomaly in a device that operates for making or breaking a circuit. The diagnostic apparatus includes a factor probability calculation unit that calculates a factor probability. The factor probability calculation unit calculates a factor probability for each matter that may be a factor in a symptom observed in the device, the factor probability being a probability that the matter truly corresponds to a factor for the observed symptom. The diagnostic apparatus can obtain useful information for improving the operating state of the device.

摘要: The acoustic diagnosis device extracts a second feature amount of an acoustic signal in which a delay of an acoustic signal collected by the microphone is corrected, the delay being generated from a relative distance between the circuit breaker and the microphone, during diagnosis of the circuit breaker, calculates a similarity between the second feature amount of the acoustic signal during the diagnosis and the first feature amount in the plurality of event models for each time, estimates the time at which the similarity becomes highest, as an occurrence timing of each event, and diagnoses the circuit breaker from a plurality of estimated occurrence timings.

摘要: A method for measuring insulation resistance in an inverter that has a DC link circuit and a bridge circuit, connected to the DC link circuit, for driving an AC current via a bridge center tap is disclosed. The method includes connecting the bridge center tap to a grounding point, successively connecting, by way of the bridge circuit, the bridge center tap that is connected to the grounding point to two points of the ungrounded DC link circuit that differ in terms of voltage, and measuring the current flowing from the two points that differ in terms of voltage to the grounding point. The two points of the ungrounded DC link circuit that differ in terms of voltage are selected from a group of points that includes at least one intermediate voltage point of the DC link circuit in addition to two end points of the DC link circuit, such that the voltages present between the two points that differ in terms of voltage and the grounding point do not exceed a predefined voltage limit value.
