摘要: A computer implemented method of creating data for a host vehicle simulation, comprising: in each of a plurality of iterations of a host vehicle simulation using at least one processor for: obtaining from an environment simulation engine a semantic-data dataset representing a plurality of scene objects in a geographical area, each one of the plurality of scene objects comprises at least object location coordinates and a plurality of values of semantically described parameters; creating a 3D visual realistic scene emulating the geographical area according to the dataset; applying at least one noise pattern associated with at least one sensor of a vehicle simulated by the host vehicle simulation engine on the virtual 3D visual realistic scene to create sensory ranging data simulation of the geographical area; converting the sensory ranging data simulation to an enhanced dataset emulating the geographical area, the enhanced dataset comprises a plurality of enhanced scene objects.

摘要: A seat apparatus having a simulated force feedback and a method for simulating a force sensation of driving are provided. The seat apparatus includes a seating unit, a rotary platform, and a realistic seat pallet. The seating unit includes a seat pan. The rotary platform includes a chassis and a rotary motive module. The seat pan is disposed on the chassis along a rotation axis in an inclinable manner. The rotary motive module can control the seat pan to have a forward or rearward inclined angle. The realistic seat pallet is disposed on the seat pan, and includes a movable contact cushion and a pallet motive module. Through the pallet motive module, the movable contact cushion is slidable relative to the seat pan. The pallet motive module can control the movable contact cushion to have left and right displacements, front and rear displacements, angular displacements, or yaw rotations.

摘要: A brake system for a driving simulator, the brake system comprising a master cylinder chamber and a slave cylinder chamber which are arranged in fluid communication via a hydraulic system. The master cylinder chamber comprising a master cylinder piston which is mechanically connected to a brake pedal such that movement of the brake pedal results in translation of the master cylinder piston along the axis of said master cylinder chamber. The hydraulic system comprising a pressure module which is arranged such that it divides the hydraulic system into a master side in fluid communication with the master cylinder chamber and a slave side in fluid communication with the slave cylinder chamber. The pressure system is adapted to intermittently increase and decrease the pressure in the hydraulic system such that tactile feedback is provided to the brake pedal.

To do this, the system will obtain a data set of synthetic LiDAR data, along with images of a real-world environment. The system will transfer the synthetic LiDAR data to a two-dimensional representation, use the two-dimensional representation and the images to train a model that a vehicle can use to operate in a real-world environment.

According to embodiments, a tip server can analyze telematics data associated with operation of one or more vehicles to determine that a driving tip should be provided to a driver of a vehicle. The tip server then utilize a treatment generation model to determine a treatment for how to provide the driving tip in a manner optimized for the particular driver. The tip server can analyze additional telematics data to determine an effectiveness of the driving tip and to update the treatment generation model in accordance with uplift modeling techniques.

A central repository comprises a synthetic natural environment database (SNEDB) that comprises data for a plurality of geographically-located terrain skin representations of a computer generated. A remote data management system maintains the remote repository comprising a subset of the SNEDB accessible to an interactive computer simulation station. The interactive computer simulation station sends, over the network, a data request for geographical locations from the SNEDB and allows users to interact in the interactive computer simulation for controlling the simulated vehicle. The remote data management system computes a plurality of expected geographical positions for the first simulation station and anticipatorily updates, via the network, the subset of the SNEDB stored in the remote repository with a supplemental subset of the SNEDB corresponding to one or more of the computed expected geographical positions.

摘要: A simulation device includes an outer frame and an inner frame. The outer frame is fixed to a floor surface and the inner frame is slideably interfaced to the outer frame. The inner frame has an inner frame axis. A hydraulic cylinder is interfaced between the outer frame and the inner frame. Operation of the hydraulic cylinder slides the inner frame with respect to the outer frame along the inner frame axis. A yaw platform is interfaced to the inner frame at one end at a pivot and at a distal opposing end by two or more bearings. The yaw platform has a yaw platform axis. Operation of a yaw motor or a yaw hydraulic ram interfaced between the yaw platform and the inner frame causes the yaw platform to change an angle between the inner frame axis and the yaw platform axis, providing simulation of yaw (loss of control).
