    摘要: An electron emission device includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other and forming a vacuum vessel. An electron emission region is provided on the first substrate, and a light-emitting region having a light-emitting area and a non-light-emitting area is provided on the second substrate. The light-emitting region includes at least one phosphor layer formed on the second substrate. At least one anode covers the phosphor layer. The anode is also positioned such that there is no gap between the anode and the non-light-emitting area. The shape of the anode in light-emitting areas follows the shape of the phosphor layer with a gap between the anode and the phosphor layer.

    摘要: This invention relates to coated particles used as phosphor particles for a phosphor screen of a display and a coating method for such particles. In the coating method of the present invention, first particles having a mean particle diameter of 3 to 10 μm are fluidized, and slurry drops obtained by suspending second particles having a mean particle diameter of 5 to 500 nm are generated from a spray nozzle or the like. Then, the fluidized first particles and the slurry drops are collided with each other, and thereby the second particles are coated on the surfaces of the first particles. Thereby, this invention is able to present coated particles wherein each surface of the first particles is uniformly coated with the second particles that are more microscopic than the first particles.

    摘要: The present invention proposes a Braun Tube for projectors having an illuminant layer provided on a phosphor screen, the illuminant layer including Zinc Silver Aluminum Oxide (ZnS:Ag, Al) as a blue color illuminant, Yttrium Terbium Silicate (Y2SiO5:Tb) as a green color illuminant, and Yttrium Europium Oxide (Y2O3:Eu) as a red color illuminant, all illuminants having particle size of 5 to 7 μm. As a result, it is possible to realize a Braun Tube for projectors, in which an extended life cycle is achieved by constraining the degradation of the illuminant, constraining the browning phenomenon, as well as improving the spot size of the electron beam thereof.

    摘要: An electron emission device includes a first substrate with an electron emission region, and a second substrate with a light emitting region. The light emitting region emits light in response to electrons emitted from the electron emission region to produce images. A phosphor layer is formed with a predetermined pattern. A black layer is formed with a predetermined pattern at a non-light-emitting region within the phosphor layer pattern on the second substrate. The black layer includes a first region of chromium oxide or an oxide of chromium and one or more metals selected from the group consisting of indium, tin, indium-tin, copper, antimony, titanium, manganese, cobalt, nickel, zinc, lead, chromium, and combinations thereof. The first region is formed on an anode. A second region of metallic chromium is formed on the first region, and a third region of chromium oxide is formed on the second region.

These phosphors for a display are used for a display which has an electron beam having an acceleration voltage of 3 kV to 15 kV as an excitation source.
