摘要: Electrochemical systems for mitigating or reducing the release of undesirable by-products of electrochemical cells are provided. These systems may be particularly relevant to the sequestering of hydrogen sulfide gas in solid state electrochemical cells with sulfide-based electrolytes. Some of the systems include an integrated hydrogen sulfide eliminating layer or microspheres containing a hydrogen sulfide eliminating material adjacent to one or more electrochemical cells and within a containment structure.

The battery includes: a battery cell, provided with a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being configured to be actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure; a bus component, configured to be electrically connected to the battery cell; an electrical cavity, configured to accommodate the battery cell and the bus component; a collecting cavity, configured to collect emissions from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated; and a sealing structure, disposed in an airflow path formed between the pressure relief mechanism and a wall of the electrical cavity and configured to prevent the emissions from reaching the bus component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery comprising the steps of: a) preparing an electrode assembly including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween; b) housing the electrode assembly in a battery case, injecting a non-aqueous electrolyte thereto and sealing the battery case to produce a preliminary battery; c) activating the preliminary battery; d) charging the activated preliminary battery to a SOC in a range of 25 to 35 to produce a secondary battery; and e) subjecting the secondary battery to a high-temperature aging for 1 hour to 6 hours at a temperature range of 60° C. to 100° C., and a lithium secondary battery manufactured by the above manufacturing method.

摘要: The power supply device including: a plurality of secondary battery cells each including a gas discharge valve for discharging internal gas; a plurality of voltage detection lines for detecting voltage of the corresponding plurality of secondary battery cells; a plurality of current fuses provided in the respective plurality of voltage detection lines to shut off current flow when currents flowing through the respective voltage detection lines exceed a predetermined value; and gas guide path communicating with the gas discharge valve to discharge gas discharged from the gas discharge valve to the outside. At least one of the plurality of current fuses is disposed in gas guide path, and is composed of thermal fuse that shuts off current flow depending on temperature of the gas discharged from the gas discharge valve.
