Abstract:
A motor vehicle monitoring method for determining driver negligence is carried out by a company in order to determine a final assessment for the vehicle. The method for determining driver negligence enables the company to calculate an average revolutions per initial odometer value and an average revolutions per secondary odometer value, where the average revolutions per secondary odometer value is a direct indication about operating state of the vehicle or an action of an end user during a designated time period. Then the company is able to adjust the contact agreement for the designated time period upon the final assessment, wherein the responsible party that violates the contact agreement is only liable for the respective damages. The method for determining driver negligence also validates the odometer and speedometer values from illegal tampering.
Abstract:
License plate ends mount behind and extend laterally from a license plate to display a printed graphic about the license plate. The license plate ends each include a display panel, a mounting bracket, a spacer and at least one mounting orifice. The mounting bracket is parallel to and offset from the display panel; connected to each other by the spacer. The at least one mounting orifice traverses through the mounting bracket and is positioned opposite the display panel across the mounting bracket. The at least one orifice is aligned behind the mounting holes of a license plate such that an individual license plate end can be mounted between a license plate and a vehicle. The printed graphic is positioned in the front surface of the display panel such that the printed graphic is easily seen.
Abstract:
An archery bow simulator is provided to allow a person to train in the use of both recurve and compound bows through a single apparatus in place of regular use bows. The archery bow simulator connect elastic bands to the simulator body, the elastic bands acting as intermediary pieces between the simulator body and a string. The elastic bands are supported by holders with rollers on a top and bottom end of the simulator body, while string stoppers brace the elastic bands in the rear. Other parts help to simulate the use of a real bow, including a laser pointer, sight, clicker, and a threading bushing that receives a stabilizer. Other parts, such as the weight receptacles, help users to adjust the simulator body to a weight balance and distribution that is appropriate and comfortable for said users' personal characteristics. Ultimately, an effective archery training tool is provided.
Abstract:
The patent relates to a new way to ward off mosquitoes, fleas and other insects from the skin through transdermal application of a patch containing about 50 mg of thiamine as well as Gingko. The transdermal patch covers an area of about 35 cm 2 of the skin. The Thiamine ingredients absorb into the skin and provides protection against insects for upwards of 48 hours.
Abstract:
A grow plant enclosure to maximize plant density for a given growing area has a perimeter frame, a first pane, and a second pane. The first pane is adjacently connected to the perimeter frame, while the second pane is removably attached to the perimeter frame opposite the first pane to form a hollow enclosure. A plurality of plug holder openings traverses through the first pane, and optionally the second pane, being designed to receive a plurality of plant holders for growing various plant types. A plurality of supply tubes traverse into the perimeter frame through a plurality of supply tube openings and each have a plurality of spray nozzles to deliver nutrient solution to the root zone of the plants retained in the plurality of plant holders. Excess nutrient solution is released through a drain fixture positioned about the bottom of the perimeter frame.
Abstract:
A method for the preparation of an organic-inorganic hybrid composition is performed through three major steps. In addition, a product is generated from this organic-inorganic hybrid composition. In step one, a series of hydrolysis reactions and condensation reactions with a functional organosilane or a combination of functional organosilanes, in presence of water as a reactant for hydrolysis and a suitable acid or a base as a catalyst is performed in order to obtain the first intermediate. In step two, a hydroxyl group-capping intermediate is prepared via reacting a hydroxyl reactable chemical with a hydroxyl functional polymerizable compound. In the third step, a hydroxyl group-capping reaction is conducted with the first intermediate and the hydroxyl group-capping intermediate, so as to obtain the organic-inorganic hybrid composition. It may further include a polymerization step to form an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer composition by UV irradiation or other approaches.
Abstract:
An apparatus for a motor scooter wheelchair caddy to be attached to a disabled rider adapted scooter that comprises a double rear axle U-bolted or welded to the base of the frame, uses 10" (or any desired size) pneumatic tires, pattern of V cut-outs, a rod as an emergency brake rotating on a bolt/axel, walled footwells, a secured foam rubber middle console, and a plurality of restraining straps.
Abstract:
A dual-sensory eyewear device for providing visual and aural distractions. The dual-sensory eyewear device includes a frame to which a pair of voltage controlled liquid crystal lenses and a pair of speakers are connected. An electronics package and a power system are also included and are housed within the frame. The power system provides electrical current to the electronics package, the pair of lenses, and the pair of speakers, while the electronics package dictates operation of the pair of lenses and the pair of speakers. Liquid crystal display drivers of the electronics package allow the pair of lenses to switch between an opaque and transparent state, while a stereo audio amplifier operates the pair of speakers. Operation commands to dictate use of the pair of lenses and the pair of speakers can be remotely transmitted to the electronics package through a wireless communication module and interpreted through a signal decoder.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the field of a device for transporting sensors and intervention tools into live wellbores by backward facing jets or propeller powered by compressed gas, chemical reaction, and the like. The tool can be coupled to spoolable cable, or it can be deployed and retrieved without any attached cable.
Abstract:
An injection device comprising a hermetically sealed prefilled ampoule optimally suited for Blow-Fill-Seal manufacturing. The prefilled injection device is designed for mass production and ideally suited for fixed dose parenteral drugs. The apparatus is constructed to provide infusion therapy without the use of a syringe, eliminating the moving parts associated with syringes such as silicon, rubber, adhesives or tungsten. The ampoule is designed to be used with a variety of needle types, as well as needleless connections. The ampoule is resistant to changes in atmospheric pressure and provides a method for aspirating the air out of the ampoule prior to injection. The present invention comprises a hermetically sealed ampoule with a prepacked medication and pocket of nitrogen gas, an integrated bfs compatible collar, and a needle safety mechanism. The needle safety mechanism is connected to the integrated collar and comprises a self-activating shield (passive or active needle safety).
