Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for moving an element, which is driven by an electric motor inside a predetermined movement section between two block positions each formed as a limit stop, into a block position, characterized in that, when moving the driven element into at least one of the two block positions, the motor current of the electric motor is continuously reduced over a preset period to zero after reaching the mechanically defined block position by the pulse width-modulated switching of the supply voltage of the electric motor at a decreasing pulse-pause ratio.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of door automation and more particularly to a method to reduce power dissipation and increase power efficiency in a door system. In particular it relates to a sliding door system (150, 550), a door drive (100) and a method for moving at least one door panel (151, 551), wherein the electrical motor (103, 503) driving the door panel (151, 551) is also arranged to operate as a generator braking the movement of the door panel. The invention further relates to storing the energy generated during the brake cycle in an electrical energy storage (105, 505) driving the door.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for the contactless approach of the lower stop position of a motor vehicle window operated by extraneous force. While the window is being lowered, the drive generates position sensor signals which are relayed to an electronic evaluation unit and counted, the drive being switched off when it reaches a given count. While the drive is being operated, in order to lower the window in a first phase of its adjusting movement, the position sensor signals are associated with the compensation of the deficiencies in the window-raising mechanism system and, in a second phase of its adjusting movement, they are associated with the displacement of the window-lowering system. During the second phase of the adjusting movement of the drive, a slowing-down path to be expected is calculated on the basis of the window-lowering speed and/or the operating voltage. When the window position which is at a distance before the position of the established contactless lower stop which corresponds to the length of the slowing-down path is reached, the window-raising drive is stopped.
Abstract:
A door (10) positioning mechanism (12) with a movable carriage (40) driven by a motor (28) through a lead screw (42), wherein the movable carriage (40) is connected to open and close the door (10) by movement of the door (10) rectilinearly along a track (14) through the expedient of a drive train utilizing a multiple sheave and cable connection between the door (10) and the movable carriage (40). A hand disconnect (32) is provided to disable the positioning mechanism (12) and allow manual movement of the door (10). A thermal (fire switch) dead weight control (38) is also provided to override the positioning mechanism (12) and automatically shut the door (10).
