The present invention relates to: a method in which an extruded aluminium alloy material is used to produce a T-shaped reinforcing material for reinforcing the strength of an LNG storage tank built into an LNG tanker; the reinforcing material; and an LNG storage tank module made by using same. Provided is a production method for a T-shaped reinforcing material for an LNG storage tank, wherein an aluminium alloy starting material is extruded in the form of a T-shaped reinforcing material by being passed through an extrusion mould, which has an extrusion-moulding part in the form of the T-shaped reinforcing material, while being heated to and isothermally maintained at a temperature of between 570 and 650°C, which is above the solidus line. Also provided are: a T-shaped reinforcing material which is produced by means of the production method; and an LNG storage tank module made by using same.

Die Erfindung kann bei der Druckspeicherung von Gasen zur Anwendung gelangen. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Druckbehälter aus faserverstärktem Kunststoff mit ebenen oder nahezu ebenen Deckeln zu realisieren. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe dadurch, dass gewickelte axial ausgerichtete Verstärkungsstrukturen durch den Innenraum des Körpers hindurchgehen und den grössten Teil der notwendigen Kräfte in ihrer Ausrichtungsebene übernehmen. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass Faserstränge, die gleichmässig verteilt über die Querschnittsfläche des zylinderförmigen Druckbehälters angeordnet werden, genau axial ausgerichtet und an ebenen oder weitgehend ebenen Deckeln befestigt werden. Eine vorteilhafte Weiterentwicklung der Erfindung sieht vor, dass durch das spiralförmige Aufwickeln einer weitgehend unidirektionalen Faserschicht, die an den Enden aufgedickt ist, ein Behälter gebildet wird. Über die Verstärkungsstränge bzw. die spiralförmig aufgewickelten unidirektionalen Faserschicht werden umfangsgerichtete radial wirkenden Verstärkungsschichten aufgebracht, die den Abschluss der Druckbehälter bilden.

A pressure vessel comprises a matrix structure extending in three dimensions. The matrix is in generally hydrostatic (triaxial, or three-dimensional) tension when carrying loading induced by pressure of the compressed fluid stored within a series of voids interlinked at their point of contact in the matrix. A fluid impermeable outer covering surrounds, and is contiguously supported by, the matrix. The pressure vessel can assume an irregular shape. Transfer means, including an artery system, is provided for admitting and discharging the fluid. A solid surface component, while in a liquid phase, can be mounted on the matrix and changed to a solid phase, anchoring the component to the matrix with an integral bond.
