Abstract:
In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a system for controlling the gas supply to a gas heater (such as a gas stove, a heating stove, and so on), the system comprising: an electric valve, for blocking and unblocking a gas supplying pipe to said gas heater; a control unit, for controlling the operation of said electric valve; a timer, for determining a delay in activation of said electric valve to block said gas supply; and a remote-control unit, for providing, in a mobile manner, user interface for setting said timer; and a processing unit, for concentrating information from said timer, and activating the operation of blocking gas supply passage whenever the time of said timer runs out.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for possibly producing pipeline-ready heavy oil from substantially non-pumpable oil feeds. The methods and apparatus may be designed to produce such pipeline-ready heavy oils in the production field. Such methods and apparatus may involve thermal soaking of liquid hydrocarbonaceous inputs in thermal environments (2) to generate, though chemical reaction, an increased distillate amount as compared with conventional boiling technologies.
Abstract:
A cargo system includes a plurality of rigidly connected compartments adapted to mount on the roof of a vehicle. The plurality of compartments includes a first compartment suitable for mounting a retractable awning and a second compartment suitable for storing cargo. The first and second compartments each include a flooring and a sidewall wherein the first compartment is rigidly connected to the second compartment by at least one of the flooring and the sidewall. One of the plurality of compartments includes a liquid container, at least a portion of the container being suspended in the compartment. The liquid container includes a tube suitable for passing liquid that emerges from the cargo system. In addition, a light assembly is operatively associated with the cargo system. The light assembly includes an electrical conductor suitable for providing power to the light assembly, the conductor emerging from the cargo system.
Abstract:
A multiple fluid flow controller valve device having radially disposed a number of valves and a central rotary shaft with cam surfaces functioning as the valve controller to open and close the valves in the desired sequence.
Abstract:
This invention is to a method and system for controlling withdrawal of liquid from pipelines. The system includes intercommunicating analyzers, control applications and controllers for analyzing and controlling flow of a liquid from a pipeline system. Pipeline systems with which this invention can be used include any type of pipeline system capable of transporting and distributing liquid fluids, particularly hydrocarbon liquids.
Abstract:
Apparatus is provided featuring a signal processor or processing module configured at least to: a signal processor configured to: receive signaling containing information about at least one rheological parameter related to a fluid containing Mature Fine Tailings (MFTs) flowing through a process pipe; and determine a dosing of a polymer to the fluid so as to cause a polymer induced agglomeration of the MFTs in the fluid, based at least partly on the signaling received. The signal processor may be configured to provide corresponding signaling to control the dosing of the polymer to cause the polymer induced fine agglomeration of the MFTs in the fluid.
Abstract:
A vapor delivery apparatus for providing a precursor vapor for a vapor deposition process includes a precursor container for holding a liquid or solid precursor. A first temperature control assembly maintains the precursor container at a first temperature to generate a vapor precursor from the liquid or solid precursor. An isolation valve is coupled to the precursor container, and a specific quantity of the vapor precursor is accumulated in an expansion volume. A fill valve, which is coupled to each of the isolation valve and the expansion volume, controls the flow of the vapor precursor from the precursor container into the expansion volume. A second temperature control assembly maintains the isolation valve at a second temperature greater than the first temperature.
