    摘要: Lipobeads (liposome-encapsulated hydrogels) combine properties of hydrogels and liposomes to create systems that are sensitive to environmental conditions and respond to changes in those conditions in a fast time scale. Lipobeads may be produced by polymerizing anchored or unanchored hydrogels within liposomes or by mixing anchored or unanchored hydrogels with liposomes. Giant lipobeads may be produced by shrinking unanchored nanogels in lipobeads and fusing the resulting lipobead aggregates, long-term aging of anchored or unanchored lipobeads, or mixing anchored or unanchored aggregated nanogels with liposomes. Poly(acrylamide), poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), and poly(N-isopropylacrylamide- co -l-vinylimidazole) lipobeads were produced and characterized.

    摘要: Various materials, including generally non-compatible materials may be provided from a single delivery system by a unique encapsulation system. An encapsulation system is advantageously constructed as a core of aqueous liquid having at least 5 % by weight water therein, and an encapsulant surrounding the core to form a stable encapsulated particle, the encapsulant comprising at least one layer of hydrophobic particles in contact with and surrounding the core, the core and hydrophobic particles providing an encapsulated system that has an average weight average particle diameter of from 0.05 to 25 micrometers and can support its own weight. The encapsulation system may be provided by a novel method of manufacture comprising providing a mass of hydrophobic particles having average mass diameter size of between 0.05 and 25 micrometers, providing droplets of an aqueous medium to the mass of particles, gently mixing the fine particles of aqueous medium and the hydrophobic particles to form a stable encapsulant system of droplets of the aqueous medium encapsulated by a shell of particles.

    摘要: The polymeric nanoparticles including olfactive components have a glass temperature of >50 DEG C. They are obtainable by continuously adding a monomer component and an olfactive component to an aqueous solution. The aqueous solution comprises a first initiator and an emulsifier. The added components are distributed in the aqueous solution to obtain reaction mixture while the polymerization of the monomer component is started at the first temperature. The liquid monomer component and the olfactive component are added continuously while a second initiator is added dropwise to the reaction mixture and the first temperature is maintained. After terminating the addition of liquid monomer component and the olfactive component the temperature of the reaction mixture is increased to a second temperature and a third initiator is added dropwise.
