The present invention relates to a method for generating video markup data on the basis of video fingerprint information, and to a method and system for providing information using same; and more particularly, to a method and system for conveniently and efficiently providing a variety of pieces of information, such as object-related advertising information, on the basis of video markup data which are generated in consideration of object information relating to objects in a video and of the fingerprint information of the video.

The invention relates to a system and computer- implemented method for providing encrypted content to a particular recipient device of a plurality of recipient devices is disclosed. Copies of one or more content elements of the content are generated. Modified content elements are obtained by modifying one or more of the copies. The content elements, including the one or more modified copies of the content elements, are then stored in a storage. A sequence of content elements representing the content is retrieved from the storage for a particular recipient device of the plurality of recipient devices by selecting a particular modified copy for substantially each content element for which modified copies are available. The sequence of content elements is then encrypted for that particular recipient device. The encrypted sequence of content elements representing the encrypted content is sent to the particular recipient device.

En conséquence, elle doit être incontestable. Le procédé de la présente invention consiste à mettre en place un réseau sécurisé de bout en bout, à effectuer la signature numérique des données enregistrées, quel qu'en soit le type, le chiffrement des données sensibles enregistrées, et à mettre en place une infrastructure de gestion de clefs pour la création, le renouvellement, la distribution et la répudiation des clefs, et à mettre en place d'un processus d'administration de preuve qui garantit l'horodatage de la signature numérique, la validation de cette signature numérique et l'archivage in fine de la preuve légale de l'intégrité et de l'authenticité du flux vidéo.

본 발명은 구조적 멀티패턴 워터마크 생성 장치 및 방법과, 이를 이용한 워터마크 삽입 장치 및 방법, 워터마크 검출 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 입력되는 사용자 은닉 정보를 복수 개로 분할하고, 복수 개로 분할된 데이터들을 메시지 인코딩(Message Encoding)하며, 메시지 인코딩된 복수 개의 데이터를 영상 신호 형태로 변조하고, 영상의 2차원 이동에 대응하기 위한 동기화 신호를 생성하며, 영상 신호 형태로 변조된 복수 개의 메시지 신호 및 동기화 신호를 이용하여 복수 개의 서브 기저 패턴을 생성하고, 복수 개의 서브 기저 패턴을 이용하여 하나의 단위 워터마크인 구조적 멀티패턴 워터마크를 생성함으로써, 워터마크의 정보 은닉량을 증가시키고, 워터마크의 구조적인 특징으로 인해 영상의 2차원적 이동뿐만 아니라 일반적인 기하학적 변형에도 강인하게 대응할 수 있다.

A video network includes public kiosks having digital storage capacity. Centralized inventory control manages the video files stored at individual kiosks or network LANs. A user requests a multimedia file for download, and selects various ancillary files and control features, such as languages, subtitles, control of nudity, etc. The requested file is encrypted according to an encryption key, watermarked, and downloaded from a high-speed port of a public kiosk to a hand-held proprietary high speed memory device of a user. Payment is received at the time of request or at the time of download, and royalties are distributed by the video network to copyright holders. Computer applications or playback devices allow users to store and/or play video files that have been downloaded to a hand-held device while managing and enforcing digital rights of content providers through the watermarking and/or encryption.

Signaturing methods and apparatus as described. In one example, a signaturing method includes capturing an audio signal, applying a first window function to a portion of the captured audio signal to produce a first windowed audio block, applying a second window function to the portion of the captured audio signal to produce a second windowed audio block, determining a first characteristic of a band of frequencies in the first windowed audio block, determining a second characteristic of the band of frequencies in the second windowed audio block, comparing the first characteristic to the second characteristic, and assigning a signature bit representative of the portion of the captured audio signal based on the comparison of the first characteristic and the second characteristic. Other examples are described.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for distributing media over a P2P IPTV network is described. Media frames are marked with a watermark at a node in the network such as end user equipment or a proxy node (e.g. DSLAM) before being sent to another node in the network. The watermark denotes that the frames have passed through the node, enabling tracking of data through the network. This assists in identifying distributors of pirated media. The watermark may also be made visible and used as a badge of origin.
