Abstract:
Process for the manufacture of a multilayer hollow body that includes at least one weld Process for the production, by moulding, of a hollow plastic body with a multilayer structure that includes a liquid barrier layer, the said process involving at least one welding operation and comprising the following steps: a) a parison comprising at least one part to be welded is inserted into an open mould comprising at least two impressions that are provided with a weld zone so as to position the part to be welded in the weld zone; b) the mould is closed, juxtaposing its impressions so as to clamp that part of the parison to be welded and to carry out the welding; c) a pressurized fluid is injected into the mould and/or a vacuum is pulled behind the mould impressions in order to press the parison against the mould impressions and to mould the hollow body; and d) the mould is opened and the hollow body extracted, the said process being characterized in that, during steps a) to d), the mould impressions are cooled, with the exception of the weld zone, which is heated using a suitable device at least during steps a) and b).

Abstract:
Method for stake-fastening an accessory (4) into a plastic fuel tank, whereby: - the accessory (4) is equipped with at least one orifice (5) which passes right through the accessory (4); - at least some of the plastic of which the wall of the tank (1) is made is melted; and - some of the molten plastic is forced through the orifice (5) of the accessory without becoming detached from the remainder of the molten plastic; - the protruding molten plastic is given an appropriate shape (8) to obtain a self- formed plastic rivet, and is left to solidify; the size and shape of the orifice (5) and/or of the solidified plastic (8) being such that the accessory (4) is mechanically fastened to the tank by at least some of the solidified plastic (8), the stake-fastening of the accessory (4) occurring at the time of manufacture of the tank (1) through the moulding of a split or at least two-part parison.
Abstract:
Closure device for a filler pipe of a tank for liquid, tank equipped with such a device Closure device for a filler pipe of a tank intended to contain a liquid, the said device comprising a valve which comprises a valve body (t, 2) in communication with the pipe and a plug (3) which can be moved in the valve body (1, 2) between a closed position and an open position of the valve, in which device: the body (1, 2) of the valve comprises an inlet opening closed off by a flap (4) which can be moved between an open position and a closed position, and an outlet opening; and the flap (4) is connected to the plug (3) by a coupling means in such a way that a thrust exerted on the flap (4) by a tubular end of a nozzle for admitting liquid into the tank causes the flap (4) to tilt in the casing (1) of the valve and the plug (3) to rotate, placing a cylindrical opening in the said plug (3) in alignment with inlet and outlet openings in the valve body (1, 2).
Abstract:
System for locking a closure mechanism (1) for a fuel-tank filler pipe covered by a fuel flap (2), said mechanism comprising a shutter (5) allowing automatic opening of the pipe via the action of a fuel-dispensing nozzle, this shutter being: retractable through the action of thrust directed against it along an axis parallel to the axis of the pipe head; integral with a return spring (11’) allowing it to be held in the closed position; said system comprising: a lever (3) integral with the closure mechanism and having the effect of locking/unlocking it, depending on its position; a lever arm (8), integral with the fuel flap, that can act effectively on the lever only to lock the mechanism when it is unlocked and the fuel flap is being closed.
