A method of dismantling a refrigerator, comprising the steps of collecting refrigerant gas from a disposed refrigerator, removing a compressor, dismantling an insulated cabinet including insulators by cutting into a plurality of pieces, and collecting the gas contained in the insulators by compressing the pieces with compression rollers opposed to each other, whereby the gas contained in the insulators are not almost diffused during the cutting of the insulated cabinet, the gas can be collected in high density because the gas is collected by leaking at the time of compression, independent air bubbles in the insulators can be collapsed easily and the gas can be surely collected completely by using the compression rollers, and thus the foaming gas in the insulators can be collected efficiently, and the refrigerator can be dismantled at a low cost without increasing the size and installation space of the equipment.

The present invention relates to an appartus for manufacturing insulation sections from mineral wool. The wool is wound around mandrels of desired size. The apparatus includes a conveyor equipment comprising an endless-loop conveyor track (2) for transporting mandrels (1). Along this track are disposed a winding device (3), a curing device (4) for wound sections, a mandrel removal device (5) and a mandrel change device (6), via which devices the mandrels are transported supported by said endless-loop conveyor track. The invention is characterized in that said mandrel change device (6) comprises a mandrel storage (7) with compartments for each mandrel size to be filled/discharged from below and an intermediate conveyor (8) and, adapted along the track of the latter conveyor, a mandrel delivery/removal station (9) and a mandrel change station (10), whereby said mandrel delivery/removal station is arranged to operate between said mandrel storage (7) and said intermediate conveyor (8) and said mandrel change station (10) is arranged to operate between said intermdediate conveyor (8) and said conveyor track (2).

The invention relates to a device for producing heat insulating bodies in the form of multi-layered bodies. Insulating bodies and processes and arrangements for evacuating and filling plastic containers with powdered or pourable materials are known per se. The size of these containers is very limited owing to the use of evacuation chambers. The new device makes it possible to produce heat insulating containers of any size and shape with an evacuated inner chamber with at least one filling at a wide variety of points. To this end, the insulating body is connected to a processing chamber (1) and both are evacuated at the same time via an aperture in the insulating body. An evacuated heat insulating body is obtained by means of a cover which is welded to it by means of a coupled electron beam gun and thus seals the aperture. It is distinguished by long useful life and can be easily disposed of in an ecologically acceptable manner.

A device for applying of an insulation to a surface of an object (10), making use of the method, comprises a store (41) of fibres of an inorganic material, a conduit means (20) for the transfer of fibres from the store (41) to a spray nozzle (21) and means for generating of an air flow in the conduit means (20) directed towards the nozzle (21). Further, the device comprises first ejector means (22) provided at the end of the conduit facing the store (41) for introducing air jets into said conduit means (20) in the direction of the fibre stream but at an inclination with respect to said stream, second ejector means (23) disposed at the end of the conduit means facing the spray nozzle (21) for the introduction of air jets directed so as to bring the fibre stream into rotation, and means (24) disposed adjacent to the spray nozzle (21) for introducing into the fibre stream, but outside of the spray nozzle, of liquid jets in the direction of the fibre stream but forming an angle with said stream, said liquid jets comprising a mixture of water and a binder.

The invention relates to an apparatus for winding a ply of an insulating material on to a core (8) to form a chute. The apparatus comprises a movable, endless belt (1) which is bent around the core for the time of the winding, so that the insulating material ply is wound between the core and the belt. In order to wind insulating chutes of greatly varying diameter within a space as small as possible, a turnable means (10) is provided outside both edges of the belt in the winding area of the belt, so that they turn perpendicularly to the plane of the belt between a position of readiness and a winding position. The belt (1) is arranged to pass via a roll (19) mounted between said turnable means (10) so as to follow their movement. The roll (19) is displaceable between a receiving/delivering position and a winding position of the core (8). Means (15, 16) are provided in connection with the turnable means (10) for displacing an empty core (8) from the receiving position to the winding position and for displacing a wound core (9) from the winding position to the delivering position.

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist Verfahren zum Befüllen der Hohlräume von Formkörpern mit einer Füllmasse sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens. Die Füllmasse enthält neben Bindemittel und Füllstoff auch einen Initiator. Dieser Initiator wird vor dem Einfüllen der Füllmasse in die Hohlräume aktiviert und ermöglicht ein beschleunigtes Ansteifen der Füllmasse im Hohlraum. Bei dem Initiator handelt es sich um eine chemische Verbindung, welche durch Aktivierung, insbesondere durch chemische Reaktion, thermische Anregung oder Anregung durch elektromagnetische Strahlung in einen reaktiven bzw. angeregten Zustand überführt wird und in diesem reaktiven bzw. angeregten Zustand die Vernetzungsreaktion des Bindemittels startet, d.h. initiiert, oder beschleunigt. Der Initiator kann ein Redoxinitiator, ein thermischer Initiator und/oder ein Photoinitiator sein.
