The invention relates to an apparatus for balancing an object (1) to be reciprocated in a vertical plane along a circular orbit, which apparatus comprises at least a frame part (2) and a pivot shaft (8) pivoted to the frame part (2), to which pivot shaft the object (1) to be moved is fixed, and which apparatus comprises at least a compensating means (9) that balances the changing force exerted by the weight of the object (1) to be moved. The apparatus also comprises at least means (4-6) that convert the moment produced by the compensating means (9) and transmit it to the pivot shaft (8) of the object (1) to be moved.
Abstract:
A hood support for a vehicle having a hood moveable between open and closed positions is provided. The hood support includes a spring assembly disposable between the vehicle hood and another portion of the vehicle. The spring assembly is moveable into an extended position to accommodate movement of the hood into the open position and moveable into a compressed position to accommodate movement of the hood into the closed position. The hood support further includes a lock tube surrounding a portion of the spring assembly and moveable relative to the spring assembly. The lock tube is selectively actuatable between a locked position, wherein the lock tube secures the spring assembly in the extended position, and an unlocked position, wherein the spring assembly is permitted to be displaced into the compressed position.

A hinge assembly for use with a pivotally movable closure panel is operable to provide a counterbalancing force to lock or hold the closure panel in an open configuration against a predetermined threshold closure force without the need of separate support components such as gas-charged struts or prop rod. The hinge assembly is provided with upper and lower hinge arms which are pivotally connected towards their rearward ends for movement relative to each other for pivotal movement about a hinge pivot axis. A generally elongated or guide slot is formed in the lower hinge arm. A prop arm is pivotally secured at a first end to a forward portion of the upper hinge arm forwardly from the hinge pivot axis. A sliding member is secured toward the second other end of the prop arm and engages the guide slot so as to be reciprocally movable therealong as the hinge arms are moved between a fully closed and fully open positions. The guide slot includes an operational section and an engaged section. A resilient biasing member is used to engage and bias the sliding member forwardly relative to the guide slot as it moves through the engaged section while disengaging from or passively engaging the sliding member as it moves along the operational section of the guide slot.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung einer Frontklappe (17) an einem Fahrzeug, mit zumindest einer in Fahrtrichtung betrachtet hinten liegenden Scharniereinrichtung (1) in Form eines Viergelenkes (3, 4) mit einem langen und einem kurzen Lenker, wobei mittels der Scharniereinrichtung (1) die Frontklappe (17) beim normalen Öffnen und Schließen verschwenkbar und bei einer Kollision des Fahrzeugs im hinteren Bereich anhebbar ist. Eine derartige Scharniereinrichtung (1) weist ein Federelement (2) auf, das bei einer Kollision des Fahrzeugs einen Verstellhebel (7) betätigt, der wiederum direkt auf die Frontklappe (17) einwirkt und an dieser direkt oder über Zwischenelemente (5, 6) anliegt, wobei die frontklappenseitigen Gelenke (19) des Viergelenks (3, 4) gelenkig an einem Schwenkhebel (15) festgelegt sind, der im Ruhezustand mit einem Ende lösbar an der Frontklappe (17) festgelegt und mit seinem anderen Ende um ein im Bereich (18) der Zuordnung des Verstellhebels (7) zu der Frontklappe (17) angeordnetes Drehgelenk (6) relativ zur Frontklappe (17) verschwenkbar ist, und der Verstellhebel (7) bei einer Kollision des Fahrzeugs die Frontklappe (17), geführt durch die Lenker (3, 4) des Viergelenks und den einseitig von der Frontklappe (17) sich lösenden Schwenkhebel (15), gegenüber dem Ruhezustand anhebt.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Getriebe mit einer mit einem Motor (17) verbindbaren Antriebswelle (16) zum automatischen Verschwenken einer mit einem Scharnierbügel (1) drehfest verbundenen Fahrzeugtür oder Fahrzeugklappe, wobei das Getriebe (8) auf den ersten Endbereich (7) eines Antriebshebels (6) wirkt, dessen zweiter Endbereich (9) schwenkbar mit dem Schamierbügel (1) verbunden ist. Um eine platzsparende Anordnung von Antrieb und Scharnierbügel (1) zu erreichen, schlägt die Erfindung vor, als Getriebe (8) ein Planetengetriebe vorzusehen, welches in den Antriebshebel (6) integriert ist. Dabei wird die Antriebswelle (16) des Getriebes (8) durch die Trägerachse des Sonnenrades (12) und das Hohlrad (15) des Planetengetriebes (8) durch den entsprechend ausgestalteten ersten Endbereich (2) des Antriebshebels (6) gebildet.
