Abstract:
An improved door handle assembly (10) having an integral sound dampening flap feature. The integral sound dampening flap feature incorporates an integrated dual hinged flap (52). This dual hinged flap (52) dampens vibration while adjusting to vertical movement and eliminating the need for any pivot pin or other retaining component.
Abstract:
An aftermarket dish drying appliance fits in the dishwasher during the washing cycle and opens in response to detecting a drying cycle to expose an internal dehumidifier element to dishwasher air thereby reducing the moisture in the dishwasher air to promote more complete dish drying. The appliance may be rechargeable on an associated base station and include an internal fan for circulating air past the dehumidifier element both in the dishwasher and during recharging.
Abstract:
A piston (11) for use in a cartridge for dispensing multi-part fluids, the piston (11) being injection moulded and having integrally formed circumferential seals (14), wherein the piston (11) is moulded in the absence of a longitudinal parting line across the seals (14). A tool (10) for forming a piston (11) having a plurality of circumferential seals (14) for use in a cartridge for dispensing multi-part fluids, the tool (10) comprising a plurality of segments together defining a piston (11) cavity corresponding to an outer periphery of the piston (11).
Abstract:
A fastening clip assembly (100) is configured to securely couple a first component (200) to a second component (200), and may include a first lobe including a first retainer (142), a second lobe include a second retainer (142), a first stabilizer including a third retainer (142), and a second stabilizer including a fourth retainer (142). The retainers (132, 142) are configured to abut into one or more surfaces of the first or second component (200) that surround a hole (206) to provide a stable connection between the fastening clip assembly (100) and the first or second component (200).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for fastening at least one component on a carrier component of a motor vehicle, comprising a housing part with a receptacle and a pin which is insertable into the receptacle, wherein the housing part has a fastening portion with which said housing part is fastenable on an opening in the carrier component, and wherein at least one component to be fastened on the carrier component can be held using the system, wherein the receptacle in the housing part contains two elastic spring arms which, when the pin is inserted into the receptacle, latch against latching projections of the free end of the pin, wherein the spring arms each have a force transmission surface, and wherein the latching projections of the pin each have a force transmission surface, wherein, when the pin is inserted into the housing part, the force transmission surfaces of the latching projections in each case lie opposite a force transmission surface of one of the spring arms, wherein the force transmission surfaces each lie in surfaces which are oblique or curved in relation to the insertion direction of the pin into the receptacle, and therefore a tensile force acting on the pin from the receptacle produces a force of the spring arms, the force acting radially inwards with respect to the pin.
Abstract:
A multi-station, reciprocating die, pattern forming machine, including a pair of parallel reciprocal slide members with spaced pairs of pattern forming dies thereon reciprocal between an insert position and an eject position. Drive mechanism reciprocates the die pairs alternately between the insert position and eject position. Mechanism delivers and positions a pattern receiving blank to a pair of dies when in the insert position. Axial translation of the dies causes the dies to rotate the blank at a center of process and impart a pattern upon the blank. Servo-motors on blank positioning mechanism provide feedback recognition of the position of the blanks during processing.
Abstract:
Welding headwear comprises a display operable to present images for viewing by a wearer of the welding headwear, and comprises circuitry operable to determine an identifier associated with a workpiece, retrieve, from memory, welding work instructions associated with the identifier, and generate the images for presentation on the display based on said work instructions.
Abstract:
A combustion tool fuel cell is provided having enhanced low temperature operation, including a fuel composition comprising at least one hydrocarbon component with a total vapor pressure equal or above 95 psig at 21C.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a metal-cored welding wire, and, more specifically, to a metal-cored aluminum welding wire for arc welding, such as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). A disclosed metal-cored aluminum welding wire includes a metallic sheath and a granular core disposed within the metallic sheath. The granular core includes a first alloy having a plurality of elements, wherein the first alloy has a solidus that is lower than each of the respective melting points of the plurality of elements of the first alloy.
Abstract:
A windshield wiper park position heater employs an area-type heater construction having a flexible substrate supporting a high resistance heater material between electrodes of a lower resistance electrode material. The high length-to-width of the heater element is accommodated through a bus structure that orients current flow along the shortest dimension of the heater and by supplying power at a midpoint of the bus structure to decrease voltage drop over the longest dimension of the heater. A clip structure allows internal conductive layers of laminated connection point between heater components to be simply joined in the crimping operation.
