Abstract:
An electrode constituted of: a fixture arranged for connection to a frame; and a probe exhibiting a closed face and a generally conically shaped protrusion extending longitudinally from the closed face towards an apex, the probe in communication with the fixture, wherein the fixture is arranged to allow the probe to travel in a generally unrestricted manner exclusively along a longitudinal axis of the probe, wherein the generally conically shaped protrusion is arranged such that when the closed face is in contact with a skin surface, the generally conically shaped protrusion penetrates an outer layer of the skin surface responsive to the weight of the probe and is in electrical contact with an inner portion of the penetrated skin surface, and wherein a portion of the closed face, surrounding the generally conically shaped protrusion, is arranged to be in electrical contact with the outer skin layer.
Abstract:
A handheld radiographic device is provided, the device may include an X-ray detector adapted to provide a digital radiographic frame of a dynamic image of an object under investigation, a position determination subsystem adapted to provide position data associated with a digital radiographic frame and an image processing controller adapted to combine multiple radiographic frames using the position data associated with each of the radiographic frames and thus to produce a static image. Moreover, a method is provided for producing a static image from multiple radiographic frames using a handheld radiographic device.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed toward head-up display based safety devices for use in motor vehicles. The first aspect of the present invention is directed towards facilitating accurate driver operation of a driver operable device deployable in a motor vehicle without the need for a driver to turn his eyes downwards toward its control panel. This can be achieved by either providing an icon representative of the position of a driver's fingertip positioned for operating the driver operable device for superimposition on a head-up display image of the layout of its control panel, or employing a speech recognition module to issue output control signals in accordance with spoken commands. The second aspect of the present invention is directed toward projecting a head-up display image of a driver's rear field of vision including wireframe images of objects located therein.
Abstract:
A computerized puppet theatre (1, 100, 120) including one or more puppets P each capable of performing visually discernible actions and/or translatory stage movements on a stage (6, 122) for playing the role of at least one character of a puppet show in accordance with a computerized puppet show script. A computerized puppet show script may be either pre-prepared, or user directed and produced using a computerized script editing station and at least one hand worn manipulator (101) for controlling puppets.

Abstract:
A digital spirit level for displaying inclination measurements of vertical surfaces upright relative to 0° horizontal for facing a user holding the digital spirit level against a vertical surface for facilitating straight on reading of its inclination measurement. The inclination measurements are preferably displayed relative to 0° vertical as opposed to 0° horizontal. The inclination measurements are displayed on either a display screen including a pair of orthogonal seven segment arrays or a graphic display screen for displaying inclination measurements upright relative to 0° horizontal irrespective of the attitude of the digital spirit level thereto. The digital spirit level preferably includes either a self-calibrating capacitative inclination measurement module or alternatively a closed loop inclination measurement module employing an electric field for maintaining a meniscus of a dielectric liquid at a predetermined reference position.

Abstract:
The invention is a system and method for guiding a dental treatment tool. The system comprises a guidance device inserted into the mouth and an analyzer unit receiving tool location information from the device and providing an image indicating the location of the tool in relation to the jaw. The guidance device provides a platform to which any type of dental tool can be attached and supports the tool, allowing it to be moved in any direction. The system tracks the motion of the tool and displays its location and orientation relative to a three dimensional coordinate system whose origin is located on part of the device. Prior to the procedure the practitioner designs a surgery or treatment path, which is displayed on top of an image of a region in the mouth. An image of the tool showing its instantaneous location and orientation is displayed as an overlay.

Abstract:
A measuring device having a tape for taking angle and length measurements, and capable of providing a user discernible indication of the angular orientation of its tape relative in any given extended measuring state relative to a predetermined orientation, for example, the horizontal. The measuring device preferably is capable of reading out one or more measurements associated with any given extented measuring state, and transmitting them to a remote device. The measuring device preferably has one or more finger depressible soft feature keys each programmable with a user specified function downloaded from a host computer.
