A changing colour composition on the form of a gel for caring for and/or making up keratin materials is disclosed. The composition comprises in a physiologically acceptable medium, a) from 0.1 to 10% by weight preferably from 1 to 5% by weight relative to the weight of the composition of microcapsules containing releasable colorant(s), said microcapsules comprising: - a core comprising one organic material, - at least one layered coating surrounding said core, the layered coating comprising at least one polymer at least one colorant, and advantageously at least one lipid-based material, b) at least 3% by weight, preferably at least 5 by weight, more preferably at least 8% by weight and advantageously at least 10% by weight relative to the weight of the composition of at least one swelling agent, and c) at least one hydrophilic gelifying agent.

Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to a piezoelectric motion sensing apparatus (530) and a bouncer control device (40) configured to control the oscillation of a children's bouncer based on feedback from the piezoelectric motion sensing apparatus (530). In various embodiments, the piezoelectric motion sensing apparatus is configured to sense the motion of a body to which it is attached, such as a children's bouncer, and provide a feedback signal indicative of the motion. In addition, various embodiments of the present invention are directed to an infant support control device (40) configured to impart soothing sensation to a child positioned in the infant support. In particular, the infant support control device is configured to impart gentle, repetitive pulses to an infant support that mimic the heartbeat of a parent or caregiver.
Abstract:
Structures, devices and methods are provided for creating heterojunction AlGaN/GaN metal two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) tunnel-junction field-effect transistors (TJ-FET). In one aspect, metal-2DEG Schottky tunnel junctions can be employed in group III-Nitride field-effect devices that enable normally-off operation, large breakdown voltage, low leakage current, and high on/off current ratio. As a further advantage, AlGaN/GaN metal-2DEG TJ-FETs are disclosed that can be fabricated in a lateral configuration and/or a vertical configuration. Further non-limiting embodiments are provided that illustrate the advantages and flexibility of the disclosed structures.

A halogen-free, flame retardant composition comprises thermoplastic polyurethane, olefin block copolymer, carbonyl-containing olefin polymer compatibilizer, and flame retardant package comprising bisphenol-A bis(diphenyl phosphate) and/or resorcinol bis(diphenyl phosphate), a nitrogen/phosphorus based, halogen-free flame retardant, and epoxidized novolac. The composition that will not only be processed easily to make a wire or cable sheath but also pass both the VW-1 flame retardancy test and the UL1581 heat deformation test at 150℃ exhibits good tensile and flexibility properties.

The present disclosure provides a flexible, halogen-free, flame retardant composition. The composition includes from about 25 wt % to about 95 wt % of a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU); from about 5 wt % to about 50 wt % of an olefin block copolymer (OBC); and from about 30 wt % to about 70 wt % of a flame retardant. The flame retardant is selected from resorcinol bis(diphenyl 5 phosphate) (RDP), bis diphenyl phosphate (BDP), bisphenol-A bis(diphenyl phosphate) (BPADP), aluminum trihydrate (ATH), a nitrogen/phosphorus-based halogen-free flame retardant, epoxidized novolac resin, and combinations thereof. The composition requires no compatibilizer for the TPU and OBC. The composition finds application in wire and cable structures.

Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to a powered children's swing (100). In various embodiments, the swing includes a seat(130), swing frame (120), one or more swing arms (140), a first magnetic component, second magnetic component, swing motion sensor (180), and swing control circuit (190). The magnetic components are configured to generate a magnetic force that drives the seat (130) along a swing path. The swing control circuit (190) is configured to control the magnetic components based at least on input from the swing motion sensor (180) and generate control signals causing the seat (130) to swing with a substantially constant amplitude as specified by a user.

A method for evaluating relative bacterial virulence of a biphasic bacteria in environmental systems includes measuring the concentration of DNA in the bacteria, measuring the concentration of RNA in the bacteria, determining a ratio of the concentration of RNA to the concentration of DNA and correlating the concentration ratio with a level of relative pathogenicity, wherein the bacteria is preferentially Legionella pneumophila, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Listeria.

A one-piece corner poster clip system for removably securing and hanging a poster or picture on a surface. The one-piece corner poster clip system has a first member, a second member hingedly connected to the first member, a compressible pad, and a securing member to removably secure the system to a surface. The first member has at least one latch extend out therefrom, and the second member has a recess defined therein and at least one notch and bore adapted to receive the latch. The compressible pad is located in the recess of the second member and provides a compression force against the poster inserted in the recess when the first member is closed. The latch and the notch are oriented on their respective members so as to be engagable with each other when the first member is pivoted flush against the second member.

A method for and devices utilizing monolithic integration of enhancement- mode and depletion-mode AlGaN/GaN heterojunction field-effect transistors (HFETs) is disclosed. Source and drain ohmic contacts of HFETs are first defined. Gate electrodes of the depletion-mode HFETs are then defined. Gate electrodes of the enhancement-mode HFETs are then defined using fluoride-based plasma treatment and high temperature post-gate annealing of the sample. Device isolation is achieved by either mesa etching or fluoride-based plasma treatment. This method provides a complete planar process for GaN-based integrated circuits favored in high-density and high-speed applications.
