    Abstract: In prior art hollow skis the raw material is arranged in a mould in such a way that it surrounds an elastic air chamber which is pressurised, whereafter the material is cured. The process of the invention is intended to provide a hollow ski of low weight and high rigidity. To this end the air chamber takes the form of two sections of a double hose (6, 7) side-by-side in the longitudinal direction of the ski. In each section of the double chamber a fibre-fabric outer hose (7) is pushed over an airtight, thin-walled and expandable plastic inner chamber (6) and, after impregnation with a synthetic resin, it is inflated through the inner hose and pressed against the running surface and against the fibre-fabric material forming the outer layer of the hollow body which is also impregnated with synthetic resin so that a vertical ridge (8) is formed along the hollow ski. The components are firmly bonded together by curing and form the ridig bond of the hollow ski.

    Abstract: A control sytsem is disclosed for shifting gears in an automatic shift gear box (3) by using fuzzy logic methods. Vehicle parameters form input variables (8) that are continuously detected by appropriate means (9). These input variables are further processed in downstream functional blocks (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17). Gear shifting points that ensure an economical driving are determined in the functional block (11) according to fuzzy logic methods.
